I'm leaning towards Rorschach. I'm partial to detectives.

Rorschach and Night Owl.

Rorschach might not have been the nicest of the characters, but he had a certain sense of Justice and Determination about him that the others didn't have. Sure he was a psychopathic killer, but he always targeted those that we all have viewed as the world would be better off without. Rorschach represents that feral side of us as human beings that wants to take matters into our own hands when and injustice has been done. He also represents the path of vengeance and unwavering mindsets, which led directly to his own destruction. It was one of my least favorite parts of the book, but the reason Rorschach went to his death at the hands of Dr. Manhattan is because he knew he could not live in Adrian Veidt's new world. His conscience wouldn't allow it, but he knew at the same time it would save the world even if it was the result of a lie. Death became a final release and show of mercy for the tormented soul of Rorschach.

Fuck that, Eddie Blake for the win.

Rorschach, most definitely but the comedian is a close second.

Comedian I like his spot in history.

Rorschach, of course. Dr. Manhattan is my second favorite.

Rorschach, the comedian is second cause of his part in the movie.

Rorsarch, Silhouette and Dr.Manhattan. I love them all for different reasons.

Bit worried about the Before Watchmen stuff, might change my mind on a few characters :/

Ozymandias...Rorschach was definitely my least favorite character.

Rorschach/The Comedian

I'm surprised to see so many Comedian fans. He is my least favorite.

@knighthood: Yeah frankly I don't get that either, after what he did to Sally Jupiter....

Rorschach's my favorite.

Also, why does everyone like Comedian, he's a f***ing rapist.

Rorschach and Night Owl.

This, I've never been able to decide between the 2

Ozymandias kicks more ass than all of them combined (excluding Manhattan).

#20 Posted by Video_Martian (5645 posts) - - Show Bio

Ozy was a pretty cool villain, though...

This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face...all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No."

I've always had a soft spot for both Nite Owls, and Dan especially. It's really easy for me to relate to him.

#23 Posted by Jeanniebird (115 posts) - - Show Bio

@FullmetalChobit: Yeah, but everybody loves Rorschach and he doesn't exactly have a clean slate, either

#24 Posted by FullmetalChobit (218 posts) - - Show Bio

@Jeanniebird: Rape is a more horrendous crime of the soul than murder is, IMHO.

#25 Posted by vaso_petrov (5 posts) - - Show Bio

1.Rorschach

2.The Comedian / Ozymandias (cant deside)

3.Night owl (Dan)

Ted Kord, Captain Atom and The Question. ...sigh... how cool would it have been if DC didnt chicken out and change their mind about letting Alan Moore use all Charlton Comic characters instead of their replacement dopplegangers (Owl, Manhattan and Rorschach) who never fit into the DC universe? Sure it's probably for the best but as a DC fanboy I'd still would have loved to see it with the original established characters.

I guess if The Question was killed at the end of Watchmen we never would have had Deny Oneals run and maybe not Blue Beetle's run in the 80's and JLI but it's cool to think about.

Dr. Manhattan! By far!!

Though every character in Watchmen is just so interesting, next would be Nite Owl II, then Ozy.

Though Nite Owl's movie design looks waaaay cooler than his original costume.
