The Watchmen, follows a group of retired superheros, as they attempt to foil a plot to kill off masked superheroes. As they race to find the killer, the Doomsday clock draws closer to Nuclear War. Soon they find themselves entangled in a web of lies and deceit, that just might save humanity, but at what cost. And just how far will they go to save the world?

Watchmen(The greatest film I have ever seen) 0

Watchmen is fantastic!!!! The movie was almost played dead on to the comic. Almost every phrase and sentence was word for word to the comic! It was like I was reading the comic all over again but in moving pictures. All of the characters acted as I would expect they would in real life. The fighting scene between Rorschach vs the SWAT team was heart pounding excitement. Of coarse the quotes made by Jackie Earle Haley AKA Rorschach AKA Walter Kovacs were spectacular ; the dramatic death of Rorscha...

Okay, now I must have read this book about a hundred times since it first came out twenty years ago. First time was cover to cover devouring every word. I loved it. Each consecutive time I found myself reading around the extras like "The Black Freighter" and the novel by the original Night owl called "Under The Hood". Watchmen is just plain Beautiful. The film is very well done and I was honestly pleasantly surprised to find it much better than I was expecting it to be! Absolutely fabulous visual effects and I love how it got the R rating this graphic novel deserves. In my opinion this film-adaptation did not take away from the book at all. The characters definitely came to life through the actors in full velocity and are completely believable and enjoyable – I feel Jeffrey Dean Morgan gave the greatest perfo...
