Four more actors to join cast of the upcoming film
It seems like Warren Ellis has a lot on his plate lately, what with so many of his graphic novels being adapted into motion pictures including ' Gravel' and ' Black Summer,' and now the cast of another movie adaptation, ' Red' seems to have a relatively sufficient cast.
Previously, we indicated that both Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman were set to play in the 'Red' movie adaptation. In a recent report from ' The Hollywood Reporter,' Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck), Ernest Borgnine (Gattaca), Richard Dreyfuss (Mr. Holland's Opus) and Brian Cox(The Bourne Supremacy) will all be playing in the upcoming film as well. According to the article, McMahon will play the role of the Vice President, who is planning to kill Willis' character, a former CIA agent. Dreyfuss will play a wealthy aristocrat, and Cox opposite Willis as the primary rival in the story.
Other actors that have already signed on to what is looking to be a relatively promising motion picture are Helen Mirren, John C. Reilly and Mary-Louis Parker.
'Red' will begin filming in January, and is set to be directed by Robert Schwentke (The Time Traveler's Wife). What do you think of the cast for the film? Does it look promising in your opinion? Have you read the 'Red' graphic novel?
