I never really liked Flash's character but after reading the whole series and hearing he's coming how can I refuse? Who doesn't like Wally?

First comic I read was Flashlpoint so for me Barry is my flash. I hope that Wally fans will be happy but somehow I doubt it. "that's not exactly the same Wally West that was in the old DCU" they'll complain.

I thinks its a black costume with blue lightning.

I almost lost hope that he would ever return, especially with how good Barry has been written so far, but here he is. I grew up watching the justice league cartoon and Wally as the flash became my instant favorite which lead me to read comics in the first place, Wally has remained my favorite comic character since then and I am ecstatic at his return to possible glory. So please DC, with every ounce of emotion I can muster, do not screw up this opportunity...... I don't think I could take it.

All the jerks will have a hard time typing their Wally hate when he comes back, he'll just change your bile to compliments the femtosecond before you press post. Lol.

YES YES YES YES, even better news this week! First Peter comes back and now DC are bringing my favourite Flash back! Don't get me wrong, unlike other Wally fans, I quite like Barry and what the Flash series has been doing. But if there's one character who showed the most growth, development and progress in Pre New 52 canon in his stories, it was Wally West. His path from being ashamed of his job upholding Barry's legacy to surpassing his mentor in prowess and status was a truly great ride and hopefully, DC can achieve balancing two Flashes in their universe. There are 5 Earth Green Lanterns, multiple members of the Bat Family and a disjointed Superman Family so a Flash Family is perfectly fine too.

Of course, Wally's origin could be a one shot thing or they could be screwing around with the perfect foundation material but for now, I'm very pleased with this news indeed.

Good news everyone! Well for Wally fans at least. I hope the character will be well written.

Cassandra Cain. Jade. Mia Dearden. Lorena Marquez. The list goes on. Also, the general quality of the New 52. DC's treatment of creators not named Morrison, Johns, Snyder, or Lemire. Wally coming back is great, but they have a long way to go.

I have already fangirled enough during class when I read the news so I won't bother doing so again here :))

But... I wonder, is Wally really the one in the blue suit? If so... It might make sense... He's clearly running around the place in those smaller images around the cover which might be because he's checking the place out since I'm thinking (as I'd always hoped for), Wally traveled to this universe (there's some shattered glass around him and he seems to be coming out of the page), maybe? Perhaps he survived Flashpoint? Silly idea, but ehh, it's my silly idea :P

You just know people are gonna be dissapointed when it comes out, the New 52 never lives up to expectations.

Some people see the glass half full, some half empty, for DC Fans I don't think there even is a glass to begin with.

I think its the Flash thats been popular. Most people cant tell the difference between the two, and truth be told JLU Wally was just a combination of Barry, Wally and Bart into one Flash.

I don't really care how they do it...I'm so friggin excited that Wally West (the Flash I grew up with) is back!!!

Venditti has said before that he didn't start reading comics until he started writing them so my guess is this Wally isn't going to be much like the one before, so people should keep that in mind and accept it for what it is.

As for having 2 Flashes running about I think it would be cool if one was to protect the timeline. Every issue he could run to a new timeline to defeat a threat. Booster Gold and Rip Hunter could appear and Flash could team up with Demon Knights, Justice League 3000 and the Legion.

@themanintheshoe: I think what's most likely to happen is that Barry will remain the flash while Wally will get his own superhero identity. He can pretty much be Flash's Nightwing.

Hopefully Barry stays he is my favorite flash, I like Wally I just prefer Barry. I am glad Wally is coming back I just do not want Barry to get pushed out of the picture or end up dying for some stupid reason. The blue outfit looks kinda cool though.

with all the flash back pics it does look like Barry was being watched.

My clue is the big blue eye to the bottom left and the guy with the blue jacket in the bottom right who was watched by Barry. Looks like he got his power between Gorilla Warfare

Great to see this happen, Hell of a lot of people have been calling out for it.

Reember what i say if Wally doesn´t get a principal role in The Flash the whiners are gonna scream until Barry is pushed aside.

First off, I am glad that Wally is making his return and we will be seeing him again as part of the DC Universe.Second, I am not a fan of the creative team that was picked for the title.And last but not least, I am also not a fan of Wally's design.

Sometimes I like Booths art sometimes I don't it depends on the book. But I think it'll work well on a Flash book.

as long as Barry Allen stays as The Flash, I'll be happy. I love him too much for him to just leave because Wally is in the picture. I'd like to see Wally as some spin off character.
