Since then, he has become the Emperor of the Shi'ar Empire, and Darwin has tried to stop him. But the two temporarily reunited when Darwin accepted Vulcan's offer to be his Best Man when he wed Deathbird.
After seeking out the Shi'ar royal family with the intention to kill D'ken, Vulcan has seemingly found a kindred spirit in Deathbird. Together, they make a lethal couple.
