Voodoo’s real name is Priscilla Kitaen. She originally worked as a stripper before she was discovered by the WildC.A.T.s  and the Daemonites. Both groups were after her because she had a unique ability called the “Sight” which allows her to detect when someone is being controlled by a Daemonite and remove it from the body. After she joined the WildC.A.T.s her many psychic and animalistic powers were revealed. She would began a long running relationship with team leader Spartan for some time. After she was shot and sent into a comma the team member Void used a computer to enter her mind and there it was revealed that she was descended from a Kherubim who had been controlled by a Daemonite making her a Kherubim/Deamonite/human hybrid.

WildC.A.T.s

 During a mission with the team they discovered the crashed Kherubium spaceship and to keep it from destroying the earth use it to travel to the planet Khera. There due to her Daemonite blood she was made to go to a Daemonite ghetto and found that the war between Daemonites and Kherubims was over and the Daemonites lost. She found that most Daemonites were not villains and the earth Daemonites were all a group of fanatic zealots after finding the rest of the team she was insulted by Zealot and lost faith in the whole Kherubim race, but was still able to stop a plan to kill Zealot. Due to everything she saw on Khera she left the team when they returned to Earth.

 She became and exotic dancer again living in New Orleans. After she met two men named Attibon and Carry-4 she began to work for Christian Charles at the Midnight Lounge. She became friends with fellow dancer Purity and got a room at the hotel, the Royale. After arriving she met a former prostitute named Freeda and a once Hitman named Saturday. However it was revealed that Attibon, Freed, and Saturday were actually Erzulie, Papa Legba and Baron Samedi, three deities related to Voodoo. It was also revealed that Charles was in fact killing his dancer so he could take their blood and bathe in it in an attempt to perform a ritual that would bring back to life his evil magician father. Carry-4 was revealed to be an evil Voodoo deity named Mait Carrefour.Charles intended to kill Purity, but Voodoo and David Dove ( the detective investigating the murders) were able to save her life. However Charles had gained enough blood to be able to perform the ritual. He resurrected his father, but Voodoo was able to lure the two back to the Royal by channeling Erzulie’s power. Their the three spirits had brought the mighty Voodoo being Damaballa who defeated the father and son and even destroyed the hotel, which resulted in Voodoo wanting to learn about the power of Voodoo.

Jeremy

After the incident she would go back to the WildC.A.T.s some months later, however this term was short as the team broke up when it was believed Zealot had died. Her and Jeremy Stone began to live together and she soon realized that she had fallen in love with him however he would often distance himself from her. Later it became known that he too was in love with her and decided to show it by removing the Daemonite DNA from her own.

Due to her connection with the Halo Corporation she was attacked by Samuel Smith the grandson of  Slaughterhouse Smith who wanted revenge for  Spartan ( Jack Marlowe) killing his father and began to attack him and those he felt closet to him. He attacked Voodoo cutting of her legs and seriously hurting her neck. He was subsequently beaten by Grifter and Jack and Grifter was able to get Jeremy to stop trying to remove Voodoo’s deamonite abilities.

The hospital she was at was amazed at the rate in which she healed her injuries. Soon she met a Daemonite who was against the others. He was able to teach her about her powers to control time and even her regenerating powers causing her legs to be fully restored. The old Daemonite also got Voodoo to engage in a relationship with Stone.

Sadly their feelings didn’t last long. Voodoo could make her powers mature by having sex with others and Stone was unable to deal with the fact that she was intimate with more men than just himself. Voodoo decided to break up with Stone and the two began to fight. However due to the side effect of his powers Stone loss his intelligence with his size and Voodoo was enraging him so he would forget the purpose of the battle and she used this to leave him.

Along with the rest of the Wildstorm universe she became involved in the battle with Captain Atom and during the battle she displayed new magnetic powers and used them to control his body. However after she attempted to use her telepathy on him he was able to connect her to the minds of every source of knowledge causing her to pass out from the overload.

Voodoo

 Powers

Voodoo is part human, Kherubim and Daemonite which results in her having unique abilities not seen in either two. She has the power of the “Sight” which allows her to see any being or object as it truly is meaning she is not affected by shape shifters of any type of illusion. She is a telepath meaning she has the power to read or take over a persons mind. She can focus her mental powers into a mental attack. She is also an empathy allowing her to feel the emotions of those she chooses Another powerful gift is that she can separate any being that is possessing a body and she often uses this gift against Daemonites. It does usually result in pain and at times it may also hurt Voodoo herself. This power can be used from a distance, but she usually gets close to the person she is using it on. Due to training from a Daemonite Voodoo can use more of the traditional powers attributed to a Daemonite. She can tranform revealing Daeominte parts resulting in her having claws, super strength, speed. She has the power to regrow lost limbs and heal from wounds faster than a normal human, she also has the power to control time itself and has recently used magnetic powers that were strong enough to control Captain Atom’s suit and even the tiny iron particles in his blood. She has been trained in traditional Voodoo magic and has even used the power of a Voodoo deity.
