And I don't mean Voodoo or Pris, or who the heck ever is in this book now. The plot line in Voodoo right now is not going well. After finding out that she has a clone, and is also a clone in her own right, Voodoo decides to toss aside the fact that she is being used, and decides that the Daemonites offer to take a greater role in their cause is to enticing. So now we are left with a Voodoo v. Voodo showdown.

Question is, who is going to win? For the first few issues of this series, I was totally on board. Ron Marz did a great job. Now the character that we sympathized with is the bad guy? Are we supposed to accept that the Good-Voodoo will win the fight, and that she is just like the Bad-Voodoo who we all loved while she was clueless?

I'm jumping ship with this title, when the current plot line ends. Unless, something majorly cool happens. This book is not heading in the right direction. As much as I love Basri's art , its not enough to keep my coming back each month.

It is hard not to like this series after I have become a huge fan of the character (after only 6 issues) but this issue doesn't stand with the rest that have made the character so endearing thus far.  In the new 52 battle against the Daemonites, which can be roughly be said to be focused around three series (Voodoo, Grifter and Stormwatch) the momentum in each seems to shift back and forth fairly frequently.  Whereas previously I had been ready to write off Stormwatch, it was the strongest this ...

Williamson brings us another action packed issue with even more surprises in a story aptly titled "Revelations". The fast pace coupled with beautiful art by Sami Basri leaves me wondering why more people aren't coming back to this title.
