The Vision helped construct The Avengers Corps and in turn helped give birth to The Galactic Avengers Battalion. He is considered to be a sort of messianic figure amongst the soldiers who serve in The Galactic Avenger Battalions.
The Machine Resistance was formed by The Vision and other individuals made of pure science to find some way of destroying The Many-Angled Ones and curing their friends. The Resistance is based on Titan, the only planet in The Cancerverse that is truly hidden from the eyes of The Many-Angled Ones.
In an attempt to cure the Legacy Virus, Warlock of Earth-8545 tried using The Technarchy's Techno-Organic Transmode Virus to counteract it in order to save his friend Doug Ramsey. But it all went horribly wrong when The Legacy and Transmode virus' merged into something far more deadly, thus giving birth to The Vi-Lock Race, most of whom were once Earth's Mightiest Heroes...and Villains.
