    Alan Moore takes a backseat from the inspirational and chews into violence & hypocrisy like a rat on New York City pizza. The book gets an extra star for the levels of vibrant artwork and gloomy overkill that spill out of this first story like blood from a jugular. Plenty of gore, a dense hitman with a Schwarzenegger complex, and the Violator itself running for his life, a demon made human and mortal in a really bad world.     Barbaric Bloodbath 0

    The excessive levels of savagery are something fierce with this book. Hardly a page goes by without some type of bodily fluid being expelled. Every single personality within this issue is villainous, so when the first character acts heinous, it's not long before they're shown up.Violator, the main attraction of this run, is a demonic entity originating from the Spawn comic series, which I'm no stranger to.
