    You Sank My Battleship

This was a fitting end to this mini-series. It was believable, didn't feel rushed and came to a clean and appropriate for the genre conclusion. I knew this mini-series wasn't anything that would blow me away - it was just a fun, easy read with a bunch of interesting characters. Just like the cover states, quoting ComicBookResources.com, "Proof that every character has the potential to be a great character." I wasn't aware they were printing online review quotes on the cover of comics... maybe I have to reset my life goals.

Anyway, this story picks right up where the last issue left off. Everyone was bewilidered to find out that someone other than Misty and Killgrave had been pulling the strings... but why? For how long? How deep does the deception go? All these questions and more are answered in this tidy final issue.

    Story: 4.0 / 5.0

The story itself went deeper than I thought it would. I really thought it would just end with some sweeping generalization about the differences between good and evil... while it did preach a bit of that, it ended up being more about redemption than anything else. When the main action from the beginning of the book settled down, the story paused for a moment and traveled back in time a bit, with a "One Month Earlier..." segment. Here most of the questions throughout the series are answered. Then, to tie things up even tighter, the story ends with a touching epilogue. Fitting to the story, the characters and the tone of the overall run.

    Cover Art: 4.0 / 5.0

It was actually pretty good this time around. For the previous issues, it seemed like Tiger Shark was the only one to get any attention. This cover illustrated parts and pieces from the various characters, in a display of destructive "aftermath" -which fit the theme and tone of the pages within. As a matter of course, the actual art was very good, well detailed and very "smooth" looking.

    Art: 4.0 / 5.0

The inside art is a bit more rough around the edges. It is consistent throughout the series though. Some of the facial expressions (especially the eyes) of the characters seem very strange in this issue, but maybe that was to illustrate the intensity of the events. In any case, it was not distracting and overall it was pretty well done - it is just not my favorite style.

    Overall: 4.0 / 5.0

I really enjoyed this series overall. If you set your expectations right, I think you will agree - it is worth the ~12 dollar investment for the four books - and while there is a fifth Point One issue for this series, it really confuses things more than it helps. This will likely be collected as a HC and/or trade, you may want to wait for that, though I bet your LCS has a copy of each of the main mini-series issues.
