It is a nice cover.  I dig J. Scott Campbell's art and the colors look amazing as well.  I sort of went into that in my review but edited it out so the vid wouldn't be too long.

Does this What If divert the fate of Kitty Pryde literally being stuck inside a giant silver um, facial massage device for women only? Cause that killed Joss' run for me. I actually dumped his entire run in the trash for that ending.

This is Ultron's 2nd wife, Right? Remember Jocasta Ultron's first wife. What is with Ultron? He's not that much of a villain now he's more annoying than a villain

On tv shows when it like, shows how much things could have changed if a different decision was made, they normally include lots of deaths.  So I think that's the idea for the What If's.

I like the What If stories.... It those kind of stories where if you don't like it then there is no problem because it never happened, the only problem with these stories is that since the stories  have no potential ending then the best way to end the story is by killing everybody.... 
 
Cause there's potential for a lot storries after Jean is resurected....

3rd wife actually. There was Jocasta and Alkhema (based off Mockingbird's brain patterns).
 
I flipped through this at the comic shop but didn't end up buying it because I'm sick of the Emma and the Phoenix stuff.

Ugh, hate hate haaaaaaaaate What If...? comics.  It is pure doom & gloom without any reason.  We're still in a recession, so I'm not gonna waste my money on poorly conceived stories like these.  And the 'Jean' issue would have been better released in March as Second Coming starts.  I honestly wish Marvel would stop making these :(

liked the second story with Danger and Ultron. the art on the first was good,
but the story felt like a rehash of one they did before. the recent series of
What Ifs? have read more like a Tales from The Crypt than anything.

I'm not sure what to think about this book, it's gotten decidedly weird since Whedon and Cassaday finished their run.

I do like that cover. Very well drawn and superbly colored. I think the story of Scott and Emma isn't very well served by how short it is. Honestly, how well can you do a "What If" story when they are so short. They feel more like Cliff Notes, then expanding on a preexisting story. A lot of potential lost.

I totally agree with you, but Joss has mentioned time and again how much he loves Kitty. There would be no Buffy The Vampire Slayer, without Kitty Pryde. I think Joss wanted to do something with the character that no other writer had done before by "killing" her, but he left her demise so wide open as to allow others to bring her back in any number of fantastic ways.

Jocasta was so much lovelier than Danger, and has a MUCH better attitude. I guess Ultron can overlook the superficial in favor of a deadlier, more devoted paramour.

I'm not into What Ifs at all.   All I can think about is that Wolverine: Agent of Hydra What If (Everybody Dies) and that Spiderman: The Other What If....both were terribly depressing.  The What Ifs do always seem to go for the negative doom and gloom stories (especially when you consider that the 616 version is pretty dreary as it is). 
 
However I'm a Jean Fangirl so I have to go buy....Emma is always bitchy but HELLO Jean walked away before she died and I'm sure she'll tell that she changed the timeline so they'll be together just to rub it in Emma's face...BTW I take it this is supposed to be before Phoenix Endsong?
