@almighty1azel: Maybe we're salty about this show because we hold Spiderman in very high regard and it's absolutely painful to watch him act like this when we got such good material from him before. The art is fugly, the dialogue plays it so safe it sacrifices the potential to be witty, funny, and still kid friendly. And the sight gags and jokes I saw were tired and just... bad

So yes, we have a reason to be salty. But since the kids who watch probably couldn't tell Spiderman from Deadpool and don't know comics as well... this show gets a pass for them... but I'd burn it at the stake for watering down the source material to the point of it being more water than substance. But since its "for the kids" this is supposed to be ok?

What ever happened to ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING? comics of the modern age are geared for the slightly older crowd (12+). Kids grow up. And seeing shows like this in retrospect is gonna make the whole experience pointless considering how much it isn't like the comics. It may be ok for movies to change some source material for the big screen due to movie goer scrutiny, but to completely change it, to make characters act outside their elements and hammer down the plot extremely thin is simply money hungry, sad, and abusive. This is why DC is murdering Marvel in animation; they know how to stick to their guns, they make the show "kid friendly" enough and simultaneous keep it strong enough with beautiful art and a good enough story to prevent alienating their loyal comic fans.

But I really can't blame Marvel anymore for this, this is Disney's fault.

@mr_athrilla. Lol really? This show talks to them like they are idiots ??? Why cause u dont like it ? Its meant for entertainment, if you want kids to learn let them watch sesame street or dora the explorer. Im defitinly sure they didnt learn much from batman tas... I watched batman TAS n animaniacs ( both WB shows maybe thats why you liked them, but thats besides the point) and I remember them as good cartoons i enjoyed. Just like other toons I watched Tmnt, he man, g.i. joe, voltron n transformers plus a lot more. I wasn't trying to learn anything, I was enjoying the shows. And ps I said ultimate Spider-Man is a good way to get kids into comics. Any cartoon based on comics is a good way to get them into comics. Ima say it again since comicvine deleted my post about it b4 "you dont like the show, dont watch it... u can change the channel and watch young justice and green lantern if thats more to your liking lmfao" ← sarcastic laugh...

Disney doesn't let the writers take risks... not even with the dialogue...Kinda weird considering the this is the company that let Minnie and Mickey attempt suicide and also created Die fuhrer's Face

@almighty1azel: Couldn't disagree more. Kids are only as smart as you treat them. And this show really does talk to them like they are idiots. When this show goes off the air, I honestly don't see kids remembering this as fondly as I remember a shows like Batman TAS or Animaniacs.

This.
