That seems to be the mainstream Black Cat using 2099 tech.

@RedheadedAtrocitus: no. edge of time consists of a world where spider man 616 dies, leaving the world for 2099 pure hell. noir and ultimate spider man do not really exist. ultimate had the same adventures as the 616 spidey, and noir is in a darker world which plays like a slick 30s noir film.

You know, I was thinking of Shattered Dimensions when I saw this. My bad.

Oh noes they got rid of the two most enjoyable Dimensions!

(It was at that point when I was ready to boycott the game, when suddenly)

Wait Black Cat is in the game?...Dammit!

Lookin' good! I'm glad they chose the best two universes from Shattered Dimensions.
Can't wait to play!

Noir was the only interesting looking part of the last game. if they would have just sold me that part on Steam or PSN for $10 or so, i would have bought it right away.

Shattered Dimensions was great and all, but the combat got repetitive and old kinda quick. I mean, Rock Steady nailed it; a golden, easy to learn but hard to master combat system that makes you look and feel like Batman. Game developers need to sit down and do the same with Spidey.

I my opinion, Spider-Man 2 (The Movie) had the most innovative combat system to date; with the spider-sense manual dodging, you were nearly unstoppable. Both Shattered Dimensions and Web of Shadows' were both flashy and got old very quick. But with all the videos I've seen on this one, it looks like their focusing more on story than gameplay.

Black Cat looks great as always.
@Deadlocke: Is it weird to say that the only game that ever made me feel like the Webslinger was Web of Shadows? I know it got mixed reviews but sometimes I play it just swing around New York, sprint upwalls, slide down buildings, and otherwise feel like the God of the concrete jungle. The freeroam environment and movement controls always felt amazing to me. Everything he SHOULD be able to do in other games you were able to do. Too bad it lacked in some other respects. The incredible movement capabilities and combat however were awesome. They need to bring that back to Spider-Man games.
