met Josh a couple weeks ago in Portland, super nice. Also I grew up in the area of oregon he mentions in this video. seeing him talk about Dayville, OR and Murder's Creek, both area's I grew up around was kinda weird. I have to drive through Dayville to get back to my hometown.

I live in a small town and it's pretty horrible. Recently a severed human leg was found floating in the river. There is a terrifying 19 year old missing persons case that's still unsolved (look up Heather Teague). And my friend's girlfriend was found stabbed to death in a tool shed about 6 years ago, also unsolved. Not to sound macabre but books like Nailbiter really hit a sweet spot for me. Birthright may do the same. I'm a huge fan of coming of age adventures like The Explorers, Goonies, and Monster Squad.
