whats up with that dude stink eyeing sara at 2:34?

Great interview, always a fan of del toro, good of him to go out of his way with the doodle

What?! Lol I think that "Mexican" question was WAYY out of line. There are A TON of great Mexican directors. In fact some of the best international directors in the world are Mexican. It didnt sound very good coming from you Sara.

Wow he has a great signature.

He has one of the coolest signatures I've ever seen.

Sara you really should be applauded for this interview.

Great Questions - Good Flow & Timing - Thank you -

Thanks for a great interview of one of my favorite directors. Can't wait for the movie.

Great interview Sara, except for that EXTREMELY ill informed question about Mexican directors.... Pleasantly surprised that this one had nothing to do with Marvel or DC, too (Prometheus 'doom' theme starts playing)... But, really. Great interview and I hope Del Toro skips the crime noir. I love the monster flicks.

Guillermo Del Toro is the world's greatest human.

Can't wait for Pacific Rim! Wish you had asked him a question about his At The Mountains of Madness film, but oh well.

Adore that man. Great interview.

El Laberinto del Fauno is my favorite film. Del Toro is one classy nerd. Love him.

@CrashLanden: @doordoor123: I don't know what to say except that I worded the question incorrectly, but given the fact that I was under a lot of pressure and very limited amount of time, these things are going to happen. I'm sorry, I should know better, and I feel terrible now.

Cool signature! :D

Awesome interview. Not sure what all the hyper-sensitivity is about. Its obvious what you were trying to ask. Anyway, I'd luv to see Hellboy 3

@doordoor123: @Babs: As someone who is half Mexican I actually really liked the question because I feel like Mexican and honestly Mexicans themselves are really looked down on in the US, like they aren't smart enough to create something the way Del Toro does. So, I personally really appreciate it, thank you for bringing it up. And in reply to doordoor123, you're right about there being alot of good Mexican directors, it's just they have no recognition here in the States.

Hola Charolastra.

It's so great to see Guillermo del Toro again at Comic Con, he is one of us. I'm very happy to to hear Pacific Rim has been a development bliss for him and I'll be in line to see it the first day. I think the question about Mexican Directors could have be phrased more in line of "Popular Mainstream Sci-Fi", though Star Trek's Writer Roberto Orci will soon become a Director so it's nice to see more of us Mexicans included. And yes, Hell-boy 3 should be made. If you ever drop by San Francisco or the Bay Area Guillermo, I'll bring you more artwork.

Its fine. I'm sure hes been asked weirder questions. I would have been worse. I'm sure he's used to people babbling over him. Now I FEEL BAD that YOU FEEL BAD!

Do not feel bad about the Mexican question-it was a good one. How many mexican directors can a regular, movie fan actually name. Oh yeah.......only him! haha

Now we just need to see a trailer or some sort of teaser

I love Guillermo Del Toro's movies and he really seems like a down to Earth, self-effacing and humble man. Great interview. Pacific Rim sounds incredibly awesome. Ah, yes, a Hellboy 3 movie...one can hope!
