I'll have to admit, when I first heard of X-23, I wrote her off as just another lame attempt to exploit Wolverines popularity, and even loathed her joining the New X-men, but the more issues I read the more she grew on me.  Now, I absolutely adore her, and will probably pick anything she's featured in, esecially if Chris Yost, Craig Kyle or Marjorie Liu is involved.  Any ways hopefully this series will have a long run.

Your reviews of the recent X-23 stuff have very much piqued my interest in that character. I never read comics in their single-issue form and buy trade paperbacks from retailers. Does it even make sense top get excited for an eventual release of a collection since I don't know anything specific about the backstory of the character or X-Men in general? Will I be able to just pick this up and enjoy it (because I'd love to do that)?
