I'm actually glad the issue didn't spend too much time in the underworld.  To go that whole route seems a little tired to me (maybe I've been playing too much God of War and reading the new Wolverine).  Just a glimpse was good enough to arouse interest.

Definitely the best issue so far in this re-imagined WonderWoman.   The set up for the next issue has me wanting to continue this run.  And I was on the edge of dropping it, too.  Overall, I'd rate this 4.

Hard for her not to look good no matter what the fashion.

I never really understood this concept, "Underworld" in the Wonder Woman series. Is that like calling "underworld" another name for "hell"? Or is it just two different things?

@tonis:
I agree with that one.  My only problem is the jacket.

Forgot to add, seems like MJS may not be doing so well with Superman's "Walk Across America" at least he's handling Wonder Woman better.  Heading out to my LCBS so I hope to find some Wondie issues.

Are some of these vids pre recorded ahead of time, or does Babs love wearing the wife beater tank tops?

so you think the scene with Cerberus shows that she's not mortal? I figured that scene was used to quickly display her ability to communicate and tame beasts, though she is still not aware of it yet.

Huh? Wonder Woman made it to issue 603? I didn't know her series was that consistent.

Her series has been rebooted but in total it was realized that she would be reaching 600 if her original series continued, so it was decided to renumber her current series at 600 once it reached it.  Put her back in the big leagues with Batman and Superman.

I enjoyed this issue, good to see that things are moving along with the story,  I was afraid it would drag on too long before we got some more insite into what is going on.  I just wish we'd get something in the other books as to what has happened to Wonder Woman.  I mean we still have Donna Troy and Wonder Girl so...yeah

The issue almost seemed pointless. Good rating though for what it was.

@SUPER-MAN 23: The Underworld is more like Limbo. The Greek hell is called Tartarus and the closest thing to heaven would be  the Elysian Fields( final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous)

That's true too. The reason I didn't think that at the time was because Cerberus isn't *really* a dog- at least I didn't think he was a regular dog. But you could be right, what the heck do I know! :)

It was good but not what I was wanting out of this issue.  It moved slower than the preious two or well at some points and sometimes it felt like it was stalling

I would give this issue a 2.5...it's a little better...but seems pretty obvious to me who the baddie is.

I liked the answers given to some questions presented in the few issues before this like you mentioned. The fact they addressed her more than human qualities like seeing supernatural creatures others don't see and that Cerberus had no problem with her were interesting like the reboot to her life had its limits.

Agreed. The only thing we learn is that lucifer has left Hades, not much for a full issue. I've enjoyed the JMS run so far but he really needs to pick up the pace.

As a person who knows a little about Greek myth I can say that yes you're right that Cerberus the three headed guard dog of Hades will only allow Gods to leave the realm of the dead or someone with the permission of Hades.

Also Hades is not "hell" as it is a much older construct but it houses both the Elysian Fields where the heroes and generally good people reside, and the area where the torments happen exist in a different place.
