What is that animated Superman (in the "pre-play screen") from?

Posted by iceslick

@lightsout: I think its from Batman The Brave and The Bold

Posted by iceslick

@G-Man. *spoiler alert* Jor-el alien/artifact collection in H'El #1 was downright creepy.

Edited by lightsout

@iceslick: Thanks. That was my best guess given I've seen pretty much everything else.

Jeff Parker's "fishing" actually makes a lot of sense. I am still gonna go with sewing though.

Knitting is a great hobby. It relieves stress and you can donate the scarves to the local homeless shelter.

As an avid fisher myself, fishing is better. You can use the fish to FEED the homeless! Also it's one of the few times one can get so in-tune with nature. Fish and man become one..........

Carpentry would be a great hobby considering all the collateral damage they typically cause. Also building glass bottles inside of tiny ships.

Civil war reinactment. They've got this thing for costumes, so when they're not busy they dress up in other costumes and hang out with unpowered people in costumes to convince themselves it's not weird.

Good thing we got Barry Allen to do that!

ive seen superheroes get into lepidoptery, sounds good, takes a lot of patience and is supposed to be calming, also recommended for victims of shell shock and other neurosies caused by their line of work... maybe being a dipterist of a coleopterist could work too

along the same lines, but much much less appropriate, philately (though personally I am a numistmatist) doesn't really require the same level of care and focus, but can be a slow, calming hobby

ohh and a super villain.... totally needs to be a arctophile....sooo very creepy

@martianmanhunterisbetterthancy: Wonder how much money Barry has in his collection of Flash Comics and All-Flash Quarterly's. Also wonder if he read any of that Golden Age Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern.

Stamp collecting.

This. Because being a superhero pumps you full of adrenaline and sometimes you just need to wind down with the most boring activity in the world. Plus by the time you get the next call to action you're ready to go into a suicide mission just so you don't have to go back to stamp collecting.

Whoa. That was just the first mundane hobby that came to mind, but you actually put some explanation to it. Well done!

Great answer, I'd imagine superheroes actually do this in their spare time.
