I think Buccellato is right on this one. If you get shot with a Remington bullet, you can go after the person who shot you, but you can't sue Remington.

The video isnt working from my computer I guess. It apparently only has this commercial.

Good question regardless. I think he should be held responsible. It's a vigilante weapon.

Wayne Enterprises is not liable for any accidents and/or injuries caused by misuse of Batarangs.

Please read directions carefully and if one gets stuck in your eye, flush with water and seek Medical attention.

If the batarang malfunctioned, they could be held liable (but only by the user. . . which is Batman). They cannot be held liable for it working effectively. That is on the user. As others have mentioned, it's the same as manufacturers of firearms.

So Batarangs now have big Wayne Enterprises logo on it? I thought Batman would make sure that his weapons are untraceable. Also you can sue Batman for throwing them at you, but you can't sue company for manufacturing batarangs. It's people harming people, not weapons harming people.

Very interesting question. Even more interesting would be street thugs suing Batman himself for sticking sharp pieces of metal in their faces!

Batman's thing of course is that he would never kill (on purpose), thus cops leave him alone, and often help him out. BUT he does break, and cut the hell out of people. So, i wonder if there's something set up (by Gordon) to where criminals injuries just get swept under the rug? I mean, .... We sweep criminals injuries under the rug in real life so, it wouldn't be much of a stretch.

You would think there's some sort of mechanism for the batarangs he has to leave behind to dissolve or self destruct to leave no evidence. Without evidence you have no case. Also they're boomerangs, which typically return after thrown. Lately he seems to be using them more like shurikens.

Maybe in the realm of Batman, Incorporated. Otherwise, I really doubt it. The only real case would be if someone had proof that W.E. made the batarangs, then someone might have a case. Loved Booch's answer though...roll the dice. You think you got a case? Bring it on!

I say No because they're not selling batarangs to the public. Bruce is making them and using them without making them widely available to the public.

"Hey Penguin, here's ten thousand dollars for all the times I've hurt you with one of my batarangs." if Penguin checks where the money is from, he learns about a relationship between Batman and Wayne Enterprise. So no.

I like the episode of the Adam West Batman where the Riddler was able to sue Batman for false arrest for assault to get him to appear in court so he would have to reveal his identity under oath.
