Man I love how you leave those guys at the very end makes me watch the whole video just to see them. (Not that I other wise wouldn't but...)

I'm not sure there even is a minimum amount of time to wait. Remember how long Barry Allen was dead?

Barry Allen? Barry Allen's come-back was purposely written in from the start. Remember how long Bucky was dead?!

I considered Bucky, Green Arrow, and Barry Allen dead, they just were brought back.

Jean's been gone now for 10 years. Ten. I had to count it out. I still think she's coming back. And no, I do not count this time traveling child form - I mean the real Red.

nobody is dead. is that the Godfather? the banner that's up right now?

in comic's, anyone and everyone can be brought back instantly. video games are different, usually, no one is brought back. because they have less opportunity, since there are few releases than in comics, which have tons.

temporary sig: check out this battle plz:

Did anybody read X-statix presents Dead Girl?

I loved how this was explored in that comic.

Characters in mainstream comics never really die. They go on hiatus. Some are just longer than others. Death by its very definition means they don't come back.

Death of major characters is only now used as a marketing tool to boost sales and media coverage. I always chuckle when I see the news media talking the "death of ??". These people are so oblivious that they don't realize the character will just be back in a few months.

To me The Punisher died in the list issue, thought it was a fitting end.

Jason Todd. Most unnecessary comeback of all.

BS, he was perfect contrast to Batman.

Posted by Batman-Hush

@jasonhawke: He wasn't Red Hood. He was Robin. This devalues multiple stories featuring the backlash of his death and Death in the family.

No it doesnt.

Never - seriously never accept a death - didn't Captain America die for over 2 decades?...

- TAS

No, he didn't.

The idea that Captain America and Bucky "died" in WWII is a 60's retcon. The 40's comic had them return to the states and continue their adventures.

Doesn't matter, they all come back eventually

Now, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Barry Allen dead for 20 some years? That's long enough for like 5 different writers to do Wally. So, my rule of thumb is if a character is dead for 10+ years, more than likely they won't be coming back.
