I´m not too crazy about mixing genres. It´s okay for one story line like in Curse of the Mutants but I don´t want to see vampires in my superhero books all the time.

It all depends on what genres are Mixed.

Hell yeah! Put Invincible in Walking Dead. That way he can fly around the planet and answer all the questions I have had about the world of the walking dead for years. LIke seriously dude major plot holes if you think about it too hard. Still love the walking dead anyway and just suspend my disbelief just like I do with every other comic i read haha.

I already perceive Marvel/DC/Dark Horse etc. as mixed-genre universes since elements of Sci-Fi and Horror have always been present. Dracula, the werewolf, and  Frankenstin have even had there own titles as well as all the other Monster books. I think the best example of horror in comics form was the EC line btw. I agree though with the gist of your message G-man, mixing genres can only produce fresh story conepts (I Hope.)

I'm with you Tony lets mix it up some more, me I want to see medieval theme books or character going back to mix it up with Knights and Dragons. The was this one time it happen with the avengers during Heroes Return  when the roster reached over 100 members 0.o! They where all pulled through time to the medieval era and all their costumes were altered  fit the time, I felt that was an awesome mix up.

Totally truth, superhero comics have allways taken  ellements of other generes. Also, movies like the first Alien and Terminator mix sci-fi whith horror, so isn't exclusive of comic books.
