i guess Venom could carry around his gun so they just gave him War Machine's shoulder canons......ok

*walks away*

*RUNS BACK*

WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR FLASH TO BE IN THE MILITARY OR JROTC(since he's still in high school) AND GO THROUGH SOME SORT OF CHARACTER GROWTH!? I know it's a kids show and instant gratification is what some people clamor for but, c'mon seriously? This show is just all over the place, it's like watch an hour block of Looney Tunes.

@hushofthewind: I just thought this episode was really cool and enjoyed seeing Flash as Venom. I've accepted it's no where near the 616. It's not supposed to be. The whole angle of where the Venom suit came from is even different. The show is set during their high school years. There's no way we could have Flash in the service and all that.

So, an organism that's vulnerable to extreme heat can make rocket launchers. Yeah, that totally makes sense. What, can Superman shoot Kryptonite lasers from his eyes now?

Waaaaaait waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait.

So.. it's Agent Venom without the military experience and still not simply Venom?

I was pretty impressed about him appearing on TV at all, since the original Venom is where I'd expect a lot of shows would pull their story from.

Ah, if only the age range of the target audience wasn't a little broader, I might have been tempted to watch it.

@hushofthewind: @mrstryve: yes it's him without the experience, and the funny thing is that miliraty looking body armor is actually Flash's football pads that he was wearing before the symbiote took over I believe, no idea where "agent" came from

Flash is also the scarlet spider :P enjoy

I don't think heat is a weakness in this one.... just electric shocks. Idk how that works

I'm just gonna go with it.

@g_man: i know, that's why i said they could have at least had him join the JROTC program to show a minuscule of military experience.

@w0nd: No spoilers, dude! It hasn't aired yet.

Is Marvel try to push Taskmaster ?

They made Flash sound like a total nincompoop.

Still, the idea of a living organism, synthetic or not, forming working missile launchers is a bit hard to buy. It's not like this is the Marvel Adventures universe where the symbiotic is nanotech.

I'm just glad the character (Flash) is getting more exposure.

This show has made me hate Spidey...and I didn't think that was possible.

sigh...I guess it's more Netflix reruns of "Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes" for me.

@capelibra: Season 3 is almost Brave and the bold good

Posted by snarkybits

I watched an episode last night where Loki used Doc Ock to create a bunch of Venom from Peter's DNA.

Ummm...WHAT?

NIICE!

Agent Venom's voice is super annoying.

Yeah, season three seems to be a big step up so I'm sort of considering giving it a chance.

Also, is it just me or is the audio really messed up in that trailer? Sounded really loud and blown out.

@pixel_kaiser:

Thanks for the info guys. I may check out the past seasons on Netflix.

not even gonna hate on this, i think its cool he's just getting some kind of exposure

@capelibra: Just check out season 3 the rest are still kinda painfull

I don't care how "right" it is compared to comics. Get Flash more exposure, so he can get his ongoing back.

Or better yet, give him a team book with Peter.

Spectacular Spider-Man could have found a way... sigh

Heck I remember a What If Punisher became Venom the symbiote made mini guns on his forearms. So a Venom suit with different abilities than it's mainstream counterpart considering their origins should be excusable. I'll admit I don't like every aspect of this show but it is decent. It's not like I gonna watch a DC series on Cartoon Network they get canceled whenever they enjoyable.

@g_man: just don't bother with these people. They'll be negative no matter what anybody says. It's a kids show & it's not like they're judging it based on how close to the comics this is.

There is such a thing as a kids show that doesn't talk down to it's audience and can be close to the comics. It's been done many times before.

Waiting on a more mature series but my son loves it.

Time line wise... I think they should have used Eddie Brock.... If he was in college, agent Venom would have worked better.
