The “Chronicles of Doom” is an action-packed four-part motion comic series written by Marvel super-scribe, Brian Michael Bendis, which reveals Doctor Doom’s rise to power leading up to the beginning of the story in Marvel Heroes.

Marvel Heroes will be released worldwide on June 4.

Marvel sure has gotten a cosmic cube fetish in the past few years :P I'm really curious how this is going to involve Bishop. Really didn't see him being part of this. :)

"Is there anyone on the premises wearing a cape?"

"No..."

"Not even that weird intern?"

Best line so far of this whole thing!

Hm, this game didn't live up to my expectations at all. I was able to get the closed beta test but fter a while I never felt the need of playing this game, I just found other things to do. Plus, I'm saving for Batman: Arkham Origins.

@themanintheshoe: Pretty sure it's free to play. I may be wrong but that's what I found so far.

Meh. this game is pretty dull.

@gothamred: Oh, because I thought it was buy it once and play forever. Well I still won't play it. It's more fun to play a game where you really interact with characters rather than standing next to them and get a whole text to read. Plus, I don't understand the story at all.

@teerack: To give you a clue without spoiling it (I was in Closed Beta, completed the game twice) basically Bishop is a pawn in Doom's plan to take every powerful entity in the known universe (the Cube, some tome of spells, I think even an Infinity Gem) and combine them to turn into a god.

Thanks for ruining it. Do me a favor and never respond to me again.

My problem with the game is that the whole premise and presentation is ridiculous. Why am I, Spider-Man, running (not web-swinging. I can't do that yet for some reason) around in the streets of Hell's Kitchen watching 12 Rocket Raccoons, 31 Captain Americas, 126 Wolverines, 50 Thors, 212 underpowered Hulks, 178 versions of Iron Man, and multiples of every other hero in the Marvel Universe run around these streets with me, beating up street punks and occasionally having to team up to fight an outrageously overpowered Electro?

It's like a Marvel Universe where versions of characters from a few dozen other universes are all jogging around on foot, dealing with street-level crime at the behest of S.H.I.E.L.D. for some oddball reason. Hey! I'm Spider-Man, and I get to team up with Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Man in the white costume, Thor, Thor, Hulk, Hulk, Grey Hulk, Captain America, Captain America, and Rocket Raccoon to fight a group of guys with no powers whatsoever!

Do they not realize that makes this game feel unbalanced and makes players feel less special? Spider-Man isn't a character in Marvel Heroes MMORPG; He's a character class, and it's REALLY STUPID.
