I'm not a big fan of the voices...

Thank the maker, I was afraid I'd be alone on that after watching the clip. Something just feels kinda... off to me about Batman's lines and delivery in this one part. I don't remember if those are the exact remarks he had in the comic (haven't read the story since it first came out), but it just felt a bit unenergetic in the clip. It's not like I'm a Conroy purist, either. I think Roger Craig Smith did a fine job in Batman: Arkham Origins.

Then again, it's just one small scene, so here's hoping the overall experience is way better. Regardless, I'm still pretty stoked about the film.

Eh, the clip isn't anything impressive. But I'll just wait until the full product comes out.

I don't mind Hal's voice at all to be honest, I actually like it, because I understand they were going for "young voices" since they're "young characters" but Batman's voice … that just ain't cuttin' it.

Batman's voice and acting... not a fan

Every time one of these DC animated movies come out, I have noticed people always complain about the voices.

Edited by Shallbecomeabattoo

Doesn't look good. At all. Batman punching a Parademon and wanting answers?! He should be smart enough to see that this is not a common crook. He really acts weird and his voice is off. Hmpf. Like an even older Kevin Conroy.

Also, the animation looks really basic. Much lower budget than the last few flicks. Looks even not as good as Young Justice. I am officially worried now.

@arturocalakayvee:

I think most people forget that they are younger and with less expirence heroes.

Posted by ArturoCalaKayVee

@vitalius: People also just get used to hearing the same voices so that's what they continue wanting to hear because those actors "are" the characters for them. Same goes me. I can deal with GL but Batman just doesn't sound good, he sounds like he's trying too much to be Bale. Just waiting to hear Darkseids horrible voice though...Steven Blum...ugh.

Edited by spinningbirdcake

Everyone watch it again and tell me Batman doesn't sound like a serious Adam West

Edited by _Atomikill_

GL's voice is fine, Batman's... not so much.

Edited by Oscars94

I'll judge it when it comes out. Justice League:The Flashpoint Paradox didn't look good from the trailer. Ioved it!

@spinningbirdcake: I thought the exact same thing. I think I'm going to sit this one out.

Batman's voice and acting... not a fan

STOP AGREEING WITH ME!

Hal's voice is OK given the circumstances but Batman's voice actor isn't delivering his line properly. He seems to be forcing the lines out rather than getting into character and trying to sound like Batman does like Roger Craig Smith did for Arkham Origins. This guy is really lackluster as the voice of Batman and the writing isn't doing much for me either. It is expected though given the source material they're adapting from.

Edited by RisingBean

Didn't mind Hal. Didn't care for Bruce.

Batman's voice sucks, Hals is ok but I miss Nathan Fillion

Posted by RybackStun

Still doesn't instill the same greatness of old like Under the Red Hood, Doom, or Public Enemies did. Not looking forward to this at all.

I'll watch it online to save me the trouble of buying it, bit this could very well be my last DCAU movie.

Posted by Superbat420

Batmans voice sounds like the same guy who did it on young justice lol sounds fine to me

Posted by longbowhunter

@superbat420: That was Bruce Greenwood. Same guy who voiced Batman in Under the Red Hood.

I don't mind Hal's voice but that Batman, I'm not feeling it. Either way, I'm looking forward to this.

His voice sounds fine to me, don't bash it for the sake of bashing

Edited by SynCig

I will add my "Batman's voice" opinion to the mix. It sounds really bad. Hal sounds okay but my goodness, they really missed the mark on Bats. I will still watch this when it comes out but most of the promotional stuff for this movie hasn't really grabbed me.

Posted by noj

I actually really liked Hal but like pretty much everyone else Im not really feeling Batman. It could definitely get better later on I could get used to it though.

Batman's voice.......

This Batman sounds like Adam West to me.

I dont know, not really digging the voice acting. Maybe after i see the whole movie my opinion will change.

Wow...those fxcking costumes

ALL THIS BAT WANKERY! i don't care what kind of toys or training he has, Batman can't outdo a space monster. And why the hell is a Space Cop shocked by the concept of a dude in a bat costume?

Posted by Dernman

@k4tzm4n: Hal's voice doesn't bother me that much but that might just be because Batman's just feels so wrong.

Posted by ccraft

I liked the scene from the comic better, where Hal was the one to swoop in.

Edited by viin

Hal seems alright..im a little distracted by the light green on his shoulders though....and I agree with everyone else, Batman's voice is not right.

His voice doesn't sound fine to me, don't praise it for the sake of praising.

Not a particularly convincing argument either way, is it?

Posted by EvilPenguin543

Batman's chingaurd looks goofy and the voice isn't that good either.

Posted by TheBhramaBull

In agreement with most, Batman's voice is bad. And also, "What were you doing at the docks? I want answers!", what the hell, who wrote that?! It's a parademon, not a drugdealer!!

Posted by LyraFay

I think that Batman's voice is always hard to get right unless Kevin Conroy, I mean even Christian Bale found it hard. I hope Ben Affleck can figure out how to do it otherwise its gonna look silly.

in the comic he was shocked he was just a regular man = useless

Posted by StMichalofWilson

You guys do know that this is a different universe right? Not every version is going to be the same voice actor. >_< Anyways like to see what this movie brings to the table.

Posted by 34g3f3ert3t43

This doesn't looks so bad! Batman's chin-strap is a bit distracting, but the animation is a definite step-up from Flashpoint Paradox! I will have to get used to Batman's voice, but I think O' Mara will come through in the end. Can't wait to see the WHOLE movie, before making a final judgement ;)

Posted by lifeofvibe

That was sooo lame

Posted by AmazingWebHead

They cut out the Aquaman shark scene. They had better not cut out the part where Batman steals his ring.

yeah, it actually made sense

Edited by mikep12

I'm fine with both hals and batmans voice but I heard darkseids voice he sounds like a serious pewi herman trying to imitate batman look up batman superman doom I believe he should be the voice actor

Posted by garrettsgonewild

Aquaman would've been so cool in a movie like this -__- I don't see why they couldn't have made an aquaman solo and added him in this movie?

Edited by THEOCITYLEGEND

My main complaint is the comic arc they chose to make a movie out of, in my opinion, really sucked.

My second complaint is that the voice acting, especially Batmans, is really bad.
