Voicing sounds ok. Animation looks good as usual

Looks good and DC has a good track record with animated movies so I expect it to be good. Was put off by the joke Batman said. The art looks a little anime-ish but nicely detailed. For instance Batman's 5 o'clock shadow. Also I would have preferred a preview with Flash.

Voice acting sounds a little weak. Still looks good though.

That was cool.

Batman sounds like that angry guy who sits in a corner and kaons all the time and the art style is not particularly amazing

Can't wait!

Who would've known a Amazon/Atlantean war would be so costly.

I never read Flashpoint, so ill be looking forward to watching this.

Well, this looks awesome!

I'm on it. Love DC animation

I'm not a fan of Batman and Cyborg's voice but I'm looking forward to seeing Aquaman and possibly Geo-Force if Aquaman forms the alliance in the movie.

I don't think Captain Atom was mentioned in the comics but nonetheless it was cool to hear him referenced. The designs look good and I can't judge the voice acting in one clip. Either way, July 16 needs to arrive!

Looks bad, sounds bad...

@dcvibe: I don't think so either remember Nate Adam controlled Doomsday thru a mind link.

Thought One: ALL the voice actors in that clip are miscast--even Cyborg. A voice like that doesn't come out of a guy who looks like that. And I don't like how they're trying to make Cyborg's voice sound like a computer. They should have gotten Khary Payton. He's the only voice actor I've like for Cyborg so far.

Thought Two: The writing is better than the original books (for this scene).

Thought Three: DC is really pushing lesser-knowns like they said they were... Captain Atom wasn't even in the original story.

Thought Four: I want Michael B. Jordan to be the next Human Torch.

Thought Five: Cyborg is too dang bulky. There's no way he could balance properly or move quickly. And the design is just ugly in the Flashpoint universe. The other design that looks like a football player looks much better and sleeker.

I don't mind the voice for Batman, especially since it's not supposed to be Bruce.

That was awful. Did Batman just make a joke about snacks? The voice acting and the dialogue both were just terrible.

Edit: My biggest problem with this entire scene is the reason Cyborg is trying to recruit Thomas. The Flashpoint world is a world without Superman. As such, the role of "greatest" and "most legendary" hero falls on the shoulders of Batman. He's a rallying point for other heroes and that's why Cyborg needed him in the comic. Without Batman, the other heroes didn't believe they had a chance to make a difference in the war in Europe.

The fact that Cyborg would come to Batman and tell him that he needs him because, "he's the greatest tactician on the planet," is asinine. Why would Cyborg (or anyone) believe that a hero who fights street crime would be of any sort of value when it came to military tactics?

It's a silly change.

I remember this scene from the comic

he says no... :P (pretty sure, anyway....its been a while)

Sounds good, looks great, though Batman's joke fell flat.

You're right, plus he was an old man. Well from the trailer, we do see Captain Atom before Flashpoint so I guess they mentioned him just for parallel differences.

Already pre-ordered! :)

On one hand I've loved everything the DCAU has given us so far

On the other....It's Flashpoint.

Tough decision

Captain Atom? I don't even recall his name being referenced in the Flashpoint event!

I actually felt the opposite about this. Thomas Wayne is a lot like Batman that he doesn't care if he's the greatest and most legendary hero on the planet. I haven't read the comic in awhile but it seems dumb that he would go along with it just because everyone likes him the best. It would almost seem out of character. Batman is a master strategist compared to everyone else Cyborg pulled up on that link. So it's not really a lie that they could use him for tactics. Military or otherwise, a battle is a battle. I don't think Batman would go along with it unless he really felt he was needed.

I will see this, but I also want to see DC do the SInestro Corp wars or Blackest Night.

Edited by jaybefre

Where is the Outsider?!? He's the one who killed Black Adam and J'onn J'onzz. His Flashpoint tie-ins were pretty good too.

Posted by Queso6p4

Hmm. Not sold on this, but I'd have to see more.

Edited by KRYPTON

Oh, it was getting good. Why's it always ending before it begins?

Posted by Hit_Monkey

I liked the Sandman cameo.

When I first heard about this coming out I was super excited. DC animated movies are always great and true to the comic books stories they were based on. This clip really disappointed me. What's up with their voices? Why does Cyborg look so bulky? I hope the full movie is a lot better.

Posted by Black_Claw

I like Cyborgs voice, but did they seriously have to make him sound like a computer?

Posted by TheManInTheShoe

Whoever does the animation is doing a fine job. The animation of Ultimate Spidey and Avengers Assemble is good as well, too bad the shows sucks. DC is superior when it comes to movies and tvshows

Edited by MuyJingo

Such a horrible story...why would they choose this when there were so many better stories to adapt?

Thomas Wayne as Batman makes no sense....

Posted by NICKXH

Looks better than Justice League Doom, which is a good thing. That one was awful.

Posted by deadpool25mm

Well i havent read Flashpoint so I hope ill enjoy this ;)

Posted by 80sGangInfestedArcades

@wavemotioncannon: Hell yeah man the animator is incredible they really take thier time to draw and create thier character's! they should make a DC series for every member of the justice league!

Posted by Squalleon

......You people make me feel bad for liking Flashpoint.

Posted by GERALD

I know I'm noobing out here but why are Batman's eyes red?

Posted by lifeboy

This is going to be the best dc animation ever!
