Listening to James talk about Bane just made my day. It gave me confidence that the character is in the right hands. Tynion seems like he really understands who Bane is at his core, which is great. He's exactly right. Bane isn't just the soldier; he's a general. His strength is really there to compliment his cunning and strategic brilliance. I haven't been reading Talon regularly, but this might make me catch up.

I'm also excited to see his run on Red Hood & the Outlaws. When he said Cheshire, I was like: "I'm sold."

I'm also curious to see what Cheshire's gonna look like in the New 52. Hopefully something like this

Or this:

I liked Lobdell's run, but I'm excited for this. Tynion seems like a cool guy.

I have never been into Red Hood & the Outlaws. Also have never tried tried Talon. (Honestly couldn't even remember the name of the book. Just referred to it as the Court of the Owls book.) Didn't really care much for the idea of a renegade Talon & thought it kinda of killed the intrigue or mystery of the Court. Always was curious to see what more Snyder did with the story. I like James passion a lot. Just wish he would get put on a book I like. Too bad he didn't get the Batwing gig.

Sold! I'm on the bus for both of those titles. Of course, I've already been reading them from the beginning, but this really cements my excitement for them. Awesome!

Talon is the Earth-3 counterpart of Robin and sidekick of Owlman, an evil counterpart of Batman. He was once a villain but has since changed his ways and travelled to New Earth with his girlfriend Deula Dent, joining the Teen Titans for a period.

uhhhhh, did I miss something or did this video tag the wrong Talon.

Im a big fan of Talon and the story of Calvin Rose it is telling. Really excited to see where it goes and who comes into the story. Its awesome Bane is going to be playing a major factor, I can only guess what will happen with Calvin, Bane, Batman, and the Gotham Butcher. The first 7 issues have been awesome!

James Tynion IV is overrated. We've already seen that when Snyder lets him do almost all the job, like on Talon (Snyder is only supervising the script), the story gets worse and worse every month. The first two issues of Talon were great, the rest is just lame. Or just compare the first part of Batman #19 (with Snyder only), which is great, and the second part (with "Snyder and Tynion IV", that is to say Tynion IV and Snyder supervising his work), which is boring. It's the same thing with Jeff Lemire/Ray Fawkes : one talented and bankable writer, and one drag.

Nobody ever says they want to tell the smallest story possible lol

I'm really excited about Bane's upcoming appearances though! Tynion sounds like he actually gets Bane and I've heard they're basing new Bane on his movie appearance now, which is pretty cool.

Bane as the intellectual threat as well as the physical one is just what I want my Bane to be. Real nice Tynion will be going that route in using him in his writing. And Cheshire?! Oh dear how much I am on board with him now!!
