and the code names they come up with batwing wingman ...really? wow

Yeah cause Red Robin and Batgirl sound so brilliant.

I think if any writer created a new character and starts his name with a color, he should slap himself and start again from scratch.

Red Robin, Black Bat, Blue Beetle, Black Canary. Really?

I actually like Batgirl. Simple and direct.

I like how you missed the inevitable and arguably most popular one: "Green Lantern." Not to mention all the other lantern corps. You also touched on Black Canary but missed her (ex?) Husband "Green Arrow." "Black Lightning" is another one I can think of. Let's not even start with Marvel characters ('Black Bolt," "Black Panther," "Red Hulk" etc.)

is the dark future of Daimian Wayne still viable? They didn't mention any corporation, so maybe planned back then to tease that the corporation is doomed

I'm pretty sure that the Damian Wayne future will just be treated as an elseworlds story. After all, there have been a ton of future Batman stories, and they cannot all be true.

I think it's actually just one possible future, which is what the last two issues of Batman Inc. have been making pretty clear. Especially since Bruce wants Damian to quit being Robin because he saw the future of Damian as Batman (which was back in Batman #666 and #700.) It's even more confusing though since Damian's future sees Barbara back in her wheelchair (only because when Damian as Batman first appeared in Batman #666 that was Pre-Flashpoint and Babs was still Oracle.) Not to mention that in Batman #700 Damian rescued Terry McGinnis and eventually trained him to be Batman. That is of course what happened in Batman Beyond which takes place on Earth-16 (although Bruce mentored Terry in that one so maybe Damian as Terry's mentor is the possible future of Earth-1.)

Anyways, I love Batman Inc. I have the Deluxe Edition of the Pre-Flashpoint collected edition and all 6 issues of the New-52 series and I can't wait to see how Grant Morrison's conclusion of his epic run on Batman turns out. That cliffhanger at the end of issue #5 is killing me though! What happened to Knight, Squire, Batwing, etc.!? Please let them be ok.

@JakeN7: Good thoughts on Green Arrow, Black Canary and all the Marvels, but actually, the Green Lantern title actually makes sense as explained by their history and the history of the name on Earth. I suppose you could just call them Lanterns, and perhaps that would be better, but at least there is a reason for the name other than a costume color scheme. Also, it is needed to distinguish now that they have the different colors.

@JakeN7: I cannot imagine Batwing dying since he has his own title, and a new writer was taking over just this month. I can't think they would bring in a new writer just to kill a character, but yeah, I can see either Knight or Squire buying the big one.

Morrison's work is quite impressive. I've been in and out of his work because I have not had the finances or time to keep up with all Batman ongoings until recently, but I am going back and rereading some of his past works now so I can be caught up on what he is doing in Batman Incorporated. The complexities of his over arcing stories tying back to nearly ten years of plot has really impressed me.

Did you see my theory about future Damian being the Heretic?

This was a good idea when the legend of Batman had been built up for years. After the reboot shortened the timeline to five measily years, not so much.
