Very nice! Thanks, G-Man! I never realized that the story only encompassed two issues.

One of best of Clernmont's stories, alongside Dark Phoenix Saga and The Wolverine.

Fun fact: there were only 3 issues between the end of the Dark Phoenix Saga and the beginning of Days of Future Past

Does this spoil the movie in any way? I'm going to watch it soon.....

Posted by G-Man

@slickymike88: It doesn't mentioned the movie. I actually filmed this BEFORE seeing the movie. This spoils the COMIC. Movie is loosely based on this. Obviously there are big differences but it's sorta the foundation.

@g_man Thank you so much for this! I remember reading this back then, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember the ending!!! Now I'm all set for the movie! :)

I haven't seen the movie yet (so who knows), but I think including Franklin Richards in it (like the comic) could've been a cool way for Fox to start their Fantastic Four / X-Men shared universe.

Great video Tony.

I like the fact that the future of Days of Future Past takes place last year...... Thanks Obama...

Magneto was right.

I've never liked the story that much. Then again I have problems with Claremont's writing style in general despite loving X-Men in general and recognizing just how much influence he had on X-Men.

Thanks for the recap @g_man!

Every time I hear the name Robert Kelly I can't help but think about this.

Hate to be the one to do this. but whatever this fucker said about the letter is false. The flash point paradox movie shows the very ending of the letter. The readable last words are ""for what "are?" lost, Love always, your Father, Bruce Wayne."" Whoever made that fucking letter up is full of shit. Who would cry over a letter completely written about someone outside of the family, when the entire emotional connection is based between father and son. Fuck off whoever wrote this and don't mislead people.

Yep. It was a great time to be a 13 year old comics nut. I was just discovering X-Men at the time. Totally knocked me out.
