@Muhammad Moustapha Akkad: If you look at him 10 years ago, even 3 years ago. Yeah, he was awesome.

Now it's overblown, overdone 'milk the popular character, MILK IT" style of stupidity.

See, I'd prefer they just bring back classic Deadpool "themed" characters.

My DP Corps:
Deadpool
Widdle Wade
Agent X
Kid Deadpool (not to be confused with the Deadpool Kid)
Ultimate or Exiles Deadpool

I'm definitely preferring this to Daniel Way's abomination.

While MWAM is a decent adventure book, the humor just *feels* like Deadpool, as well as the great pop culture references. Daniel Way rarely touches on those, and has a coherent story that goes anywhere, or does anything new.

While Deadpool in the savage land has been done, it definately lacked Zombies. And zombie dinosaurs. And violence in space.

I saw someone else comment that Gilscher treats deadpool like Jimmy Fallion with guns? Really? Way's just retreads old ground, forces him into new crossovers where he doesn't belong, and treats him like an idiot in spandex. It's like 'oh well he's sorta touched in the head, so let's go all out crazy so I can do whatever random shit I want to'. And the he does it with lackluster stories that lack any real substence.

While MWAM isn't defining the character, it's a good backup story until someone who can handle Deadpool's humor as well as develop the character/a story that doesn't fade and change randomly and hopefully goes someplace other than "Oh I want to be a hero...again..but I'll probably be a merc by the time this writer's done".  At least this title is good fun. With zombies and subtle humor. Always appreciated when compared to the "WOO I'M WAAAAAAACKY" Deadpool that's been populating the scene for the last year.

G-man, if this video was in 3-d, you'd poke me in the eye. haha
I just noticed how much you use your hands.
Also, I thought the book was okay, but I'd have to give it a 3 out of 5.

It's a romp. It's him with the head traveling to alternate realities and meeting alternate Deadpools.

Ya, I agree, I'd like to see more, but that's a first time idea for the character, so maybe they'll expand on it.

Maybe Marvel thought that it would be discouraging for the customers. So they made her look rather nice on the cover.

Agreed....and then G-Man showed the picture of the 2 'Pool's kissing....totally ruined it for me.

Merc With A Mouth has been terrible. Way's Deadpool is the best right now. Kelly's is always the topper however.

What about Joe Kelly and Fabian Nicieza? Joe Kelly is the best Deadpool writer in my opinion. You can't beat the classics.

" I love this series more then Daniel Way's series, the series is like the Micheal bay action movie of comics, and normally that would suck but for a character like Deadpool it works.   I'm not a big fan of Daniel Way's Deadpool series because while he has the situational comedy of Deadpool down (meat suit was hilarious) his verbal comedy isn't. Deadpool is the merc with a mouth and Daniel Way doesn't show that as much as Victor Gischler.   In fact Victor's Deadpool is alot more closer to the Joe Kelly Deadpool with how he talks. He rambles a lot and make pop culture references that often requires a trip to wikipedia to find out what he was talking about. Also Victors Deadpool can actually fight and unlike the Daniel Way's Deadpool who always gets his @$$ handed to him in almost every issue...are we forgetting that this is the guy who can take down Taskmaster easily.   To me this is the better of the three series, Team-Up stinks because there isn't enough room to tell a good story. A decent story takes at least two issues to tell, and having a different character in each issue isn't enough room to tell a good story. Way's series has it's moments but so far what he has in situational comedy he lacks in the verbal comedy Deadpool is famous for. "
I'm gonna say what I've been saying for quite some time... Gischler just sees Deadpool as Jimmy Fallon with guns. Way actually bothers to dig deep into the character. Just as Kelly did. In my opinion - that's more of a connection than what Gischler has to Kelly. I admit, Gischler has his moments, but very few... "
We've had this conversation already, In case you haven't noticed Daniel has only dived into Deadpool's mind once and that was in issue 12, that was it. Gischler has yet to do that, but what more can you say that hasn't already been said in past series or issues, plus Gischler is only 7 issues in.

Daniel fails when it comes to being a smart ass Merc with a mouth like Deadpool is suppose to be, Gischler however actually can do that. All of his pop culture references and jokes flow easily and don't feel forced which is something we haven't seen in a long time. Deadpool MWAM is a action comedy series which is what a Deadpool series is suppose to be. The problem with Daniel's series is that it isn't outside of current comic continuity.  Look back at all of the older series and you'll find that every single series was practically outside comic continuity, which gave the freedom of the writer to do whatever he wanted.

Granted I would like Gischler to go a little darker with the series, but I am perfectly fine with it being a well written action comedy series. When it comes to Deadpool, comedy comes first.....then his dark personality. Daniel Way can't provide the comedy, yes he has the situational comedy down but for the millionth time I say that he isn't funny verbal wise which is what Deadpool needs, that's why he's called THE MERC WITH A MOUTH.

Um...right!...I don't think anyone sees anyone like Jimmy Fallon. I don't think Jimmy Fallon wants to be Jimmy Fallon...

Also, isn't there a Deadpool Dog and Deadpool as a child?

One thing that confused me a bit about this series. Are they all Deadpool, as in alternate universe versions of Wade Wilson; or just different people altogether that underwent the same process that made him Deadpool?

You just had to scar us with that last image, didn't you? Really, is that so bad as the two kisses between Luke and Leia?  Three if you count that one on his forehead after they escape Cloud City.
