Was it my connection or Tony was actually dancing in stop-motion? Lmao, this was an interesting topic though. But always intrigues me is how these characters get popular because not so long ago Deadpool wasn't that much of a popular characters as he is now.

EDIT: It definitely was my connection. But hey at least it made it much more funnier. Lol

Well look at that, someone with the same screen name and avatar copied my comment and got featured. What a rip off.

Seriously though Tony, thanks for the acknowledgment.

Hey I started reading comics because of Batman. Face it he's everywhere and is gonna be everywhere. He's an old franchise that still makes money.

I always thought --still do-- that Spidey was Marvel's poster boy,and not Wolverine.

Anyway, next time talk "Superheroes who need to have a video game"

I think a lot of characters, teams ect are popular because they are shown to be important to their universe. Like only Avengers or Justice Leaguers have the big company spanning events but say if Marvel took Iron Fist and made a huge event the featured the Avengers and the Defenders and maybe a few X-Men and made a big deal about it then people would see that character is important and pay more attention to him.

By only giving characters that are currently popular the spotlight creates a self fulfilling prophecy that insures that they will stay they only characters that are popular.

Also @g_man Wonder Woman actually sold quite well, it did better than JL:Crisis on Two Earths, All Star Superman and all the Green Lanterns films.

Remember back when Superman was the popular one? Now he's universally considered inferior to Batman. Which it total crap.

Growing up with the 90's shows, you could imagine that i thought of superheroes as "Spidey ,X-Men and Batman" nothing more.....

I don't mind that they put put a Batman animated movie every year but when Batman is in every DC animated feature... I'm still waiting for DC to adapt some classic Green Arrow stuff like the crossover with Green Lantern and Speedy on drugs. Or for them to do more of the Showcase stuff, a collectionof shorts spotlighting other characters added to all those Batman dvds etc. I loved when they had Jonah Hex, Green Arrow, The Spectre etc.
