Cool.

nicee

Too short, but I liked what I saw in it.  Looks good.  Even the costume, as long as when he is unfrozen he gets a more modern sleek looking costume.
I was seriously expecting something more epic, like the first Thor trailer.  This seemed like Captain America's 3rd tv spot, not their big trailer.  Still, not compaining.  It looked great and I cannot wait.
Cap's one of my favorite heroes, so I hope its good.

I know everyone's seen this last night. I just got a non-watermarked version from Paramount and uploaded it onto our player.

gonna be epic

LOVE IT!!!! Cannot wait for this flick!

@ArtisticNeedham:
remember this was a 30 second tv spot. the actual full trailer will be out soon!

Cannot wait for this
Posted by WhoDunnit101

So... I'm just wondering if those are the best bits of that film...

Posted by ArtisticNeedham
@Kid_Zombie: yeah, but I just thought the very first commercial (everyone's very first introduction to Captain America) should have been longer and more epic.  Like the first Thor trailer, or the first Iron Man trailer.  Imagine if Tommy Lee Jones or Stanly Tucci narrated the commercial talking about how Steve Rogers was chosen for this experiment, to become America's first super soldier, to help the war against the Nazis.  With epic sounding music behind it.  All the while seeing scenes of him training and the experiment like we saw.  Maybe a longer scene of the Red Skull talking for a second, maybe holding the Cosmic cube.  ending it with Captain America in full costume holding his shield, perhaps on the battle field or punching out a guy.

I still can't wait, and i am not saying it was bad.  Just for the first glimpse of the movie I was expecting more, and more epic.  But still, maybe they are still finishing it up.  I cannot wait to see it.  It looks good.

Wow... Awesome stuff, this seems pretty sweet. But I have to admit, the part where he becomes a Super-Soldeir doesn't seem real. Well, not real... but y'know what I mean.

I thought we were going to get an actual trailer not a 30 second tv spot.

30 seconds of awesome

Posted by zombietag

i dont know how i feel about this....

Edited by wallywest55

that 30 seconds looked super lame. haha no offense to cap fans but he is a weak hero and this looks like its going to be an even weaker movie. marvel needs to slow its role and think about the concept Quality over Quantity.

I actually don't think this will be good... I have a good feeling for Thor, but this one... not so much

This gave me a stroke. Caused by excitement.

Nice. This looks like it could be good.

Look at Steve with his drinked up White T-shirt.

@ArtisticNeedham:   ha ha sounds like u are even more excited about it because it was short. You are craving more, you are craving a longer trailer, what does that tell you? they succeeded. It gave you a simple glimpse of the movie and you want more. Sounds to me they did the right thing ha ha

I know it's to soon to judge, but i feel pretty underwhelmed by this film so far.

BUCKY !!!

Oh why aren't though on the TV spot!?

(or was he?)

Not impressed nor able to get out of my heads the fact that this face is shared with the Human Torch's in yet another failed attempt to get new talent/ faces on the big screen. We have already dealt with the destruction of Deadpool by Ryan Renalds as "Mickey Marvel" attempts to save their ears by "correcting" the character flaws in their presentation by redoing the merc's character and in the meantime we all get the joy of watching Renalds dry hump the faces of even more teary eyed fan boys/girls thanks to this Green Lantern fiasco without as much as a please or thank you. He did well i suppose as the torch and perhaps he will do well in this but considering how hard it is to just stay true enough to the series to have the original WW2 outfit...

People can cry over the costume and the tone of the film all they want, but true-to-form comic book films only create confusion for a newer fan-base. The newer films are just interpretations of really bad comics, unless you want to see Captain America eating twinkies between brawls.

I've heard that Cap is not actually the first avenger... why is this movie lying?

Posted by ForbushBug

My, that Hayley Atwell wears a uniform well...

Looks pretty cool and i like the way they had him super skinny, then suped him up!! A definite must see. I bet both this film and THOR are way better than GREEN LANTERN...

Wow...so many positive responses. I thought this looked like sh*t, and completely killed my anticipation for the movie. But I suppose everyone's entitled to their own opinions

@King Quisling: Hogun? No, wait that's the asian guy in Thor, who the racists don't complain about despite their  "problems" with black Heimdall.

It'll be nice to the longer, better trailer. Still liked this short one though, if only because we finally get to some cool live action Cap. Can't wait to see more!
Posted by Eyz

it seems that there are "past" and "present" sequences mixed in this trailer.
Everytime you see the Cap in his costume + the round shield (except the prototype at the end) it's probably taking place in the present. (you can even see the futuristic "robot" Hydra agents)
And when you see the young/military Steve Rogers or that scene where he sports a jacket over his costume and the old school shield it's taking place in the past. :P

Also can't wait for this more than the Spider reboot, GL, Thor or the upcoming 3rd Batman movie!

Yeah I am some what with you on this, I am a big Cap fan and this is not looking good.  It's Marvel rushing crap out to the screen and the costume looks like crap!

Not sure how I feel about the new trailer. Kind of looks too Power Rangers-ish.

Posted by Moomin123

I'm looking forward to this, but I'm a little skeptical since a lot of Joe Johnston's movies seem to turn out...average.

Thor looks like its gonna suck. Hate Thor worst character for comics. Should have left him as a mythical god with no story line.

By the way for all those saying they should have showed more. I have come to realize that if they show less of a movie usually means it's gonna be good. Cuz they don't give to much of it away. If they show more then it usually ruins the movies. Taking major scenes and showing them in previews. So that you already feel like you have seen the movie when you acutally go see it.

What?
Staggering number of comic book fans would disagree with you.
