I'm glad that DC is still trying to sell war books, after all, the whole fun of reading comics is knowing your reading the same type of stories as people were decades ago. It also makes me feel good to know that when I see my grandma I can tell her I'm reading something called "Star Spangled War Stories" and make her feel like things haven't changed as much as they seem to :)

I really like this idea.

I also think it's really cool that we have Palmiotti and Gray get to write these war and western comics because I really love those genre and those are the types of books that build the comics industry, sure superheroes are whats popular now but it was war, western and horror comics that laid the foundations.

I am happy we are still getting G.I. stories. The original book failed, and I thought DC would forget them forever, but actually they are trying to make it more interesting. So yeah, can't wait for G.I. Zombie!!

It's always great when Palmiotti's involved in a genre like this. Trying to find a single issue of Jonah Hex/All-Star Western in the past 7 years that was anything but stellar is near impossible. These comics are the only comics I read from DC anymore.

Jimmy is hilarious. I love his a justin Gray's work on All Star Western. What I want to know is how functioning G.I. Zombie is going to be, since he is a zombie. Can he talk properly, can he move right? Is just like a normal human, except can't die, and having an interesting diet?

When are they going to bring back the New 52's Freedom Fighters? You know, Lucien Gates- the Ray, Michael Taylor- the Human Bomb, Jennifer Knight- the Phantom Lady, and Dane Maxwell- Doll Man.
