Angelina Jolie would make an awesome Wonder Woman

A Fresh new series with Wildcat wouldn't be so bad either..

I was always confused as hell when everyone was making a big deal about the "death" of Johnny Storm. Everyone was acting as if this was some serious change in comics and seriously over promoting it. He was then back in under a year. It undermines all the drama. Death in comics from the major publishers are meaningless. Regardless of writing, I can't fool myself into not knowing the character will be back. Last time I was that gullible. I was ten.

I'm actually proud of Marvel for sticking with Gwen Stacy's death. I don't count that ridiculous clone, and I'd love to forget the whole Osborn getting Gwen pregnant story. **shivers** I did hear a rumor that Quesada wanted to bring Gwen back along with Harry, but others pushed against that.

In all honesty, complaining about the lack of meaningful death in comics is pointless. It's never going to happen from these publishers, and your bashing your head into a wall expecting any different. Either deal with the empty deaths, or stop buying those comic series. Probably one of the reasons I buy a hell of a lot more manga now than comics. I've become more of a trade waiter, and I follow the talent that I like. That's about it.

I strongly agree that Cassandra deserves her own title. In fact, just give her Barbara's. Cassie did better with it.

Charisma Carpenter would be a bold choice. I liked her in BUFFY then ANGEL. One of the troubles in casting a Wonder Woman is build. You need a female actress willing to get toned. You don't have to get body builder big. You'll notice that you don't see that in a lot of Hollywood actresses.

And if anyone so much as says any Kardashian. I will curse you and hold a vote to take away your comic geek card for life. That's not even funny as a joke. That's tantamount to sacrilege, as far as I'm concerned.

I wonder if spidey is gonna ask moonknight to go with him to Northstar's Wedding.

We always have the same opinions, but you floored me with name-dropping Adventure Time - thought it was just me :D

I was coming up with an idea for an Unbreakable comic, even sketched out an idea of what Mr. Glass's "costume" might look like: The idea for his costume would be that he wears all these braces all over, arm braces, hand braces, leg braces, a face brace. He wears them over his normal clothes. And this would allow him to be as strong as a normal person. He would also use a gun and be a master planner type villain with henchmen too.

The only person to me that has the chops to play Woner Woman would have been Lucy Lawless circa about the end of Xena.... she has the build and is just the best candidate

I could not agree more about I, Vampire. I thought here we go again with another vampire story but after reading a review on this site I picked it up and loved it.

Totally agree with bringing Ultron into the Avengers movies.

@Webjaker: This is honestly my ring tone. I figured out how to convert the video into one. No joke.

S/O to K4tzm4n with the interesting Bendis\Johns question.

She Hulk definetly needs her own series again. And as far as DC goes: Bring Back Wally West :O

@G-Man: I am very surprised how good this 'Kid' show is (though I shouldnt be with shows like Avatar/Korra out there) and I was pleasantly surprised by the comics filling in gaps. - esp when they explained the dark truth behind the innocent sounding 'Mushroom War' and how it tied our world to The Land of Ooo. I love when shows can be enjoyed by ALL ages.

PS. That ringtone is Algebraic!

When they put the Wasp in the Avengers I hope they make her Wasp Stingers the same weapon as Black Widow's Stingers. That way it makes the universe smaller and more realistic and ties Wasp and Ant Man into the Avengers movie. Even if they include this idea in the Ant Man movie.

I want Hank Pym because he is an interesting character due to his severe mental problems. He is a superhero with sever mental illnesses, which could show that its a real thing to children and that would be a different take a superheroes. Every time he switches costumes and identities its a sign of problems he is having or about to have. And then Ultron could be Pym's dark side. He resents (spl?) his team, his wife, himself, everyone, he doubts himself, he doesn't feel he is good enough, or worthy to be on the Avengers, and all that, and when he creates Ultron using his brain scans its like he gives his dark side a body and makes it alive. That would be cool. And then Ultron creates the Vision who is like Pym's redemption.

Also, I LOVE adventure time. Watch it all the time.

I'm loving the new quality of the videos.

Lucy Lawless would have been a great Wonder Woman, she's older now, but she's still rocking and i think she could still pull it off, but i dont think "Hollywood" would go for it. Charisma Carpenter is ok, but I think co star Eliza would be better. I think a no name would be the best option.

On another note, while I don't want to put a face on the actress, I do think she needs to have something like Jennifer Garner's build so that when you see her on screen; you are convinced that she is actually an athlete and not just someone who walked off the catwalk.

DANCER !!!!

@G-Man: Would you read Moon knight by Warren Ellis? He writes a damn good moon knight.

Posted by sparty-dbq

If Bendis wrote for DC, they should put him on Blue Beetle. It's pretty much the new 52 version of Ultimate Spider-Man.

Posted by AskaniSon295

Avangeline Jolie would be great as Wonder Woman and Evageline Lilly would be a great Donna Troy

Gman, im going to have to disagree w you. I am not a capt.america or batman fan; im a superman justice society fan. In a fight dick grayson robin would probably beat winter soldier, but in a batman, captain america fight, capt.america would win. Yes batman is the best martial artist in the world and highly intellegent, but cap never quits and he is also hand to hand trained, and his superiority comes from being geneticaly altered to superhuman levels. In closing, let us not forget what thanos told moon dragon 'even with the mind gem, i doubt you would last more that 8 seconds against rage fueled by the power gem.'

How could we exchange Bendis with Johns?

I wouldn't even trade Johns with Remender and Gillen

Here's a good question for you G-Man...who do YOU think the mysterious figure was int he prison talking to Curt Connors in the end credits of the movie? I hear the obvious candidates but just wanna hear if you think in similar terms or you have other names to suggest.

Posted by VioletPhoenix

Annoys me when R'as Al Ghul's name is pronounced RAYSH, its RAAHS. Arabic for head, as in head of the demon. As in the way it was pronounced in Batman Begins.

Posted by G-Man

@VioletPhoenix: I've been over this many times. I've had confirmation directly from DC/Warner Bros. There's a couple interviews here where I asked and was answered on camera. BATMAN BEGINS got it wrong. All his appearances in the different animated series go with 'raysh.'

Posted by VioletPhoenix

@G-Man: I'm aware, just saying that if DC are going for Head of the Demon translated, in Arabic its pronounced 'Raahs', that's all.

Posted by yo_yo_fun

Gosh, I've thought about who would be a perfect Wonder Woman but I've drawn to a blank. No well-known actress would be a good choice. I would also have to say go w/ a new actress but that is a big risk. But I have to agree, NOT Megan Fox!!! I know guys like her & all but she's no Wonder Woman...Does Lynda Carter have a daughter?lol jk

And I know you were rushed G-Man, but how can you not mention Two-Face has one of the top ten Batman villains?!?lol

I totally think it was Osbourne. He's sprinkled throughout the film while always remaining in the background. And they mentioned he was ill, and that shadowy figure had a cane. Also, google up the video with Webb and Rhys Ifans talking about the credits scene, Ifans hints strongly at Osbourne too.

Very good review... Thanks, G-Man.

That was fun, just watching before I go to bed. But the thought of Brian Bendis on JLA - and you can bet it'd be the street-level Detroit kids - is going to keep me awake. Brrrrr.
