I was way more excited about AvX than this. Not sure why. Maybe it's because it appears to be such a big departure, but I know it's all going to go back to the status quo. I just don't feel invested.

I don't feel any building tension in the books I read.

This...could actually be good.

Looks interesting.

I love ultron... but no matter what they say I cant help but think that this looks like its going to be some alternative timeline with AU tag on everything

Posted by Comiclove5

I'm so glad this isn't affecting the regular MU.

Posted by fjeset

That narrator sounded alot like Kevin Conroy.

Posted by iancoderre3

@sentryman555: Superior Spider-Man is getting a Age of Ultron Comic in his own series, but the main comic will have the real Peter Parker.

Posted by dontbelievethehyperion

Not sure why all the complaining? Looks good to me.

I saw Moon Knight in one of the ads, so I'm in.

So it's not a future timeline or a alternate reality? Hmmm (+)

Looks Good

Looks light years beyond better than avengers vs xmen.

So it's not an "alternate reality" or future? LOL "it's happening" so that must mean it's going to be in the present 616 somehow. Confusing stuff.

Seriously, one of the things that I don't get if it's set in the current Marvel U is why certain characters like Captain America are in their old costumes and not their new ones.

But honestly it's hard to get excited about this. They keep throwing up the whole idea that characters are going to die and only a handful will remain to fight against Ultron as some type of rebel force, yet from all of the covers that have been released I can't see how any of this can't be an alternate universe and is somehow happen on Earth-616. Marvel Now! was suppose to be Marvel's way of bringing in new readers, but so far we've had a whole new Spider-Man (which isn't good for new readers) and now certain characters are going to "die" and the world is in utter chaos? Yeeeaaah, great place for new readers to jump in... -__-

It could be good but tbh i'm tired of marvel events. AvX didn't even finish that long ago :(

I'm craving for some good DC crossovers now! Come on DC, I believe in you...kinda?

Posted by AskaniSon295

so Ultron just did what Kang allways does. wake me up magnus the robot fighter kills ultron.

lol.

looks o.k. I guess. Hope marvel doesn't pull a DC with their continuity here..

Didn't they already try this plot in next avengers?

It's the price that kills me, 3 issues a month at 3.99 O_O That's bollocks.

wasn't age of apocalypse supposed to not be an alternate reality too?

Thats what I was thinking, unless at the very end thr reboot whatever Ultron did. I mean the said AoA originally wasnt the future or alternate reality either.

I'm so getting this, I love Hitch artwork it makes anything epic.

I still haven't recovered from AvX. I'm suffering from major event fatigue. I need a real break where I can just enjoy comics standing on there own without crossing over..

Age of Ultron was delayed a year for Avengers vs X-Men. Not to mention, Bryan Hitch's art is ridiculously detailed and he works slow, which is why Ultimates Vol1 and Vol 2 kept getting delayed back in the day. The head start is why there's so many issues releasing in rapid succession.

If I recall, they said the costume changes will be reflected in later issues of the crossover.

I understand that, but that just further shows that Marvel didn't plan Marvel Now! out as well as they could have. I can understand certain artist making tweaks to new designs due to not knowing exactly what it would look like, but Marvel should really work on keeping their artists and writers up-to-date on little details like if a certain character is wearing a certain costume. I know it doesn't make that HUGE of difference, but it's seriously annoying and just throws things off in my opinion.

But either way, that still doesn't make this any less uninviting for new readers, hard to jump into a series where half the characters are supposedly dead, the world is in ruins, and characters are taking up the mantles of other characters. Not to mention that, like many are already saying, no matter how big of a story this is, we all know it won't last and will revert back to how it was, so it does steal the suspense from the story just a little bit...

Emma. I'm in.

But really, by the looks of it all, it appears more as an alternate reality rather than the 616 Universe.

Posted by obscurefan

Yeah I don't care what anyone says, this is totally an Alternate Universe (AU, get it). Wolverine and Invisible Woman from this alternate world travel back in time to our world to kill Hank Pym before he creates Ultron, and that's how it crosses over into our world (which is why we see Peter Parker Spider-Man and the Superior Spider-Man involved in it).

Also, "It was an age of heroes, an age where man and mutant set their differences aside." I'm pretty sure it has to last longer than six issues to be considered "an age." Otherwise its just called "a few issues." Marvel, you have to give us something before you destroy it for it to count.

Posted by Webjaker

So New52 sucked so bad initially that I discovered how good Marvel titles were.... then AvX was such a colossal waste of time that I got worried, then Marvel NOW had some great creative teams, now we have another ridiculous event ...SIGH

Posted by LordRequiem

If it's not an alternate reality or the future then it's just going to be another "massive" event with a death at the end and that'll be that.

Posted by RedheadedAtrocitus

Present then, not an alternate possible future like Days of Future Past or something. Well that just makes this all the more intriguing...

Posted by Mr_Athrilla

Can't wait to upload my Mass Effect 3 renegade Shepard file, and show these Marvel rookies how to really bring the pain genocidal robots.

Looks so much better than AVsX

Regular? So, where and when does this take place if it doesn't affect the MU in general? Don't know much about this outside of a few posters and concept.

Every title that will crossover with it is an offshoot of the original For Example: Superior Spider-Man #6 AU puts Ock-Spider in the Age of Ultron. While Superior Spider-Man #6 continues the regular adventure of Ock-Spider.
