If you haven't read New Avengers #32, I recommend reading it before continuing.
I just read the issue and I am sad to say, as it stands, Victoria Hand has died and it looks permanent.

Victoria was one of those characters I felt could play a major part in any arc she is put in. Especially since she was the liaison between S.H.I.E.L.D and the New Avengers.
To me killing her was a bad move, although most of her parts were that of a supporting character, she contributed a lot, especially during the Dark Reign arc and the time we weren't sure whether or not she would betray the avengers during the H.A.M.M.E.R and Norman Osborn story line.
So in short, to me she still had a lot of potential growth as a character who is strong in both will and emotion. which were a few of the reasons she quickly became one of my a favorite characters.
Although she died in a way that looks permanent. Some of you will say, in comics no death is permanent. In this case I believe it is, as indicated by her body and Daredevil's comment.
But as there's always hope, what strange does could mean something

Unless I am proved wrong about her death, all I can say is
