    Creator-Owned

    Publisher »

In terms of quantity, it is much more common for characters to be creator-owned (or company-licensed) than owned by their publisher. However, in comics two of the biggest publishers worldwide (DC and Marvel) traditionally own all their characters. This page is meant to help distinguish characters that are owned by the creator from those owned by the publisher in cases where it's not immediately obvious.

70...it's one of the "Big 15" Vertigo series to have surpassed 50 issues...only about half of those 15 series have been fully collected "
    who is the writer? "
Peter Milligan I believe, the guy currently writing Hellblazer and GREEK STREET!!! "
Since it's in all caps I'm going to assume that Greek Street is good. Am I right?

Personally i want them to put the TPBs out without updating the ink an such. Keep it the same, cause nowadays making the comics look MODERN isnt my taste. I am old at heart and i love my old comics

the first post shows my opinions on all the current comics, and G-Man did review Greek Street explaining that it's not for everyone...but yes, I do indeed love Greek Street which was my reason for putting it all in caps :D "
Picked up the first 2 issues today, I tend to avoid reviews cause I don;t want anything to get spoiled. :-)   I think I shall read them now since I can't sleep.

Not enough people, at any rate. It's a bit irritating at times, because I know there are a lot of people on this site who would love a lot of Vertigo titles, but just never get past mainstream superhero books. Some of the best writers in the business have done their best work on Vertigo books.

@geraldthesloth: I can vouch for the Grant Morrison stuff, but after that it was written by either Rich Veitch or Jamie Delano and I haven't read it yet

    Agreed.

And to think, people are denied their favorite writer's best stuff because of what they call "Bad Art". I know, I was one of them once.

So it seems that Vertigo has confirmed that all of the original DC characters will return to the DCU, with the obvious exception of John Constantine. It seems this move broke a swamp thing miniseries and has made Madame Xanadu another casualty of Vertigo.

Now I ask, why the change? Is not like if Xanadu could have a chance in DC's line with so much else going on
