In terms of quantity, it is much more common for characters to be creator-owned (or company-licensed) than owned by their publisher. However, in comics two of the biggest publishers worldwide (DC and Marvel) traditionally own all their characters. This page is meant to help distinguish characters that are owned by the creator from those owned by the publisher in cases where it's not immediately obvious.
Im A HUGE Vertigo Fan, Ive read Sandman,Lucifer,Hellblazer and many others but always looking for more suggestions and too see which book Fans think is the best
@aztek the lost: Loved the first seven issues and I agree that was one hell of a lazy ending, but as far as I can remember it's the only Vertigo comic I've collected so kinda gets this accolade via default and the merit of those first seven issues.
