Technically the Vertigo and the Marauders are never really dead because Sinister has vats of their genetic makeup and makes clones of them each time hey are killed. So it's more of saying that we probably will not be seeing that "Vertigo" again but we'll probably be seeing a her clone again in the future if they decided to bring her back.
