    Venom

Character » Venom appears in 2794 issues.

The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.

With Spidey getting the supposely reboot, what happens to Venom?

Since Spider-man is getting a supposely reboot and all that jazz, is the Venom spin off movie affected at all by this? Or is it still on the go unchanged???

Well the good thing about the reboot is that Venom never died and they can do him justice now.

So before Raimi's Spiderman ended, the Venom movie was going to be a spin-off from Spider-man 3... So thats in the same world as the Spidey movies. So now they are basically going to have to reboot Venom to then? And how can you do that without Venoms origin story involving Spidey?

Really easily. Just vaguely hint at his origin with a couple of flashbacks and then do better versions of some of the 90s comics. The Venom movie could still easily go on. And actually do good..... hopefully....

Well yeah, I guess they will have to reboot it, wouldn't make much sense if they didn't, the Venom spin-off probably won't happen though.

Was there even a finished script for the Venom spin-off? Far as I knew there was no official confirmation on anything, just rumors.

Please, don't give up hope! This is Venom's chance at NOT being remembered as Topher Grace! D:

i dont think it will happen either. with the Spider-Man franchise itself facing enough problems to the point of needing
a last ditch overhaul (and now alot more money stuck into it than before), its highly unlikely theyll be able to spin
    off anything.
