The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.
It'd be interesting to see how they would depict the Joker with a symbiote....but I'd never want to see it in a real book.....(yes I know they are from 2 different universes)
If Freddy Krueger had a symbiote...he'd be one of the scariest characters ever. Freddy already has a wierd face. Deathstroke would make a good symbiote host.
It's not so much WHO I would like to see inhabit the Venom costume but HOW it would be presented.
I know we all miss classic Venom, but that's Eddie's thing. Why not have a character use the suit in a completely new way, like have claws and teeth but have a black ninja suit type thing?
If Morbius had Venom's extended powers, would he really just become a slobbering idiot? no, he would look different.

i bn thinking about it, i think deadpool should get it. his HF could help the symbiote stop feeding off others ppl and giving in to rages.wade would be a sufficient source of brain matter and chemicals also giving wade a reason for internal dialog
i would like to see a hulk venom symbiote as a one shot
i would like to see carnage and sentry merge for good that would make him way more different than superman. since toxin is good and already has spidermans colors giving him that symbiote would make him an interesting character and more able to fight with the big boys. i just thought of this one but i like it the most or atleast tied w carnage taking over sentry/void. the carnage and void merge could create a whole new name and everything.

Deadpool is too big for that.Only people nobody cares about get symbiotes.

Yeah Morbius would be sick. Like you said I think if it got hosted to him it would be like a skinnier venom but with vampire fangs and I think he would be able to control his blood thirst or maybe not just because that symbiote is very evil after the last 3 people it was attached to.
Or hell!!!!!!! What would be sick is if The Hood and Doctor Strange were both mixed in with the symbiote and became one mystically powered vile alien being.
Picture this. Stange is ticked off cause Hood caused him to loses his title. This makes Strange go after Hood which results in a chaotic battle near a war factory which Norman Osbourne controls. Norman doesn't want any damage done to the factory so he sends Venom to stop the fight but also with Nitro assisting him. As Venom and Nitro arrive at the fight, Nitro after getting blasted by Strange, explodes. An explosion is seen in the distance by Luke Cage and Iron Fist. As the two investigate the scene they see Nitro carring Mac Gargan who is mortal wounded. Luke asks Nitro "What did you do?" Mac says "It got them both." And Mac dies. All of a sudden Iron Fist and Luke Cage see a tall black floating figure rising up. The Venom Symbiote bonded with both Doctor Strange and the Hood.
As Iron Fist, Cage, and Nitro nearly escape, they make it to safty. Nitro tells Cage and Fist that when Nitro got hit by Strange's mystic blast he erupted but as his firey blast began to spread, The Symbiote must have feared that my explosion would burn it to death so it seperated from Mac and fused with both Strange and the Hood.
The new Venom then goes on a destructive killing spree in the city. The New Avengers, the Dark Avengers, Thunder Bolts, X-Men, Fantastic Four, even the Midnight Sons and a reunited Howling Commandos try to stop him but nothing happens. Though at one points Norman Osbourne has some how caught Red Hulk and Green Hulk. Both of them beat up Venom but at one point, Venom blasts them both with a weird blue energy burst and both Hulk and Red Hulk are gone but all that remains is a giant black rock. As the heros are shocked of this, Venom says " I have better things to do then stay here. Soon you will all bow to Venom Sorcerer Supreme." He then bows to the rock and says to the rock, "New York is yours." Venom then flies away and the rock burst open revealing a mixure of Hulk and Red Hulk(Rulk). The Rulk attacks the heros.
This could begin a new story line like "World War Venom."
