The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.
only a cover and it's the last issue of the arc and the solicit for the next issue doesn't make any mention of this at all....I'm going to guess that if Ock does get the symbiote then it will only be for a page or two
@thecheesestabber: It seems VERY unlkely it isn't considering he's calling his Spider-Merc's in the first panel lol and I heard that SpOck may have found some way to control symbiotes after Superior Carnage. Haven't read the issue yet so I dunno what thats referring too.
As of today, SpOck already has the Carnage Symbiote at his disposal, the Venom symbiote would be overkill. Doubt he keeps it for long, doubly since Flash joins the GoTg in a few months as Venom
