    Venom

    Character » Venom appears in 2794 issues.

    The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.

    No, people who post Toxin here are wrong. Toxin is the spawn of Carnage.

    That "Pregancy" never came to fruition, apparently. They never touched on it again. HOWEVER, it is possible that it was a botched introduction to Toxin. Either that, or bonding to Eddie's cancerous body killed the baby.

    People, come on now...

     Note, Venom is referencing the
     Note, Venom is referencing the "child" that the OP is referring to

    @Risky:
    Anti-Venom isn't a spawn of the symbiote. It's 1/3 Mister Negative's energy, 1/3 the remaining symbiote in Eddie's bloodstream, and 1/3 white blood cells

    @InnerVenom123:
    Oh I see. What a waste of a potentually interesting character. Though it would probably end up like Toxin: under-used and under-appreciated.

    @chris thompson: Toxin's very existence is a plot-hole, and his premiere comic was full of plot-holes. I think he should just be retconned out of existence, but that's just me. As for the child, like I said, I'm pretty sure that it died from the symbiote bonding to Eddie.

    Back in the day marvel used to have something calld the no-prize, where fans would help explain away continuity errors, to contribute to the medium they love.

    Now the fanbase is made up of whiney arrogant jerks, who hate every single book they read, yet continue to buy every month, and latch on to every error.

    Toxins 'plot hole' is that.
     Carnage once mostly lost the symbiote when Venom tried to reabsorb it.
    Kassidy found what appeared to be an exact replica in the negative zone.
    Carnage has Toxin.
    Toxin is said to be Venoms grandson, as you would expect.

    "But wait if he was using a different symbiote (from the NZ) then it wouldnt be any relative of Venom's." - Fat virgins.

    Simple No-prize esque explanation:

    "As we can see there was some Carnage symbiote left on the floor of Kassidys cell after venom eats, and it is partially bonded to his blood stream anyway and Venom did not suck out all his blood, he simply took enough that Carnage would never be able to manifest again under normal circumstances. Later, Kassidy simply absorbed the symbiote in the same way he absorbed tonnes of symbiotes in 'Planet of the Symbiotes' and used it to regenerate Carnages mass."

    Why have we let the fan-culture become so hatefull and miserable?

    We have no one to blame for marvels bad output but ourselves, as those bad books like BND ASM and Red Hulk are selling better then X-factor and GotG, change your ways or quit your moaning.
