    The Venom symbiote originally bonded with Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, during his adventure in the first Secret Wars on the Beyonder's planet called Battleworld. Initially, he thought the symbiote was just an attire. However, upon his discovery, he rejected it because he realized that it was sentient. Since then, the symbiote has bonded with several other hosts, including Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato, Flash Thompson, Ann Weying, and even Carol Danvers. Currently, its host is Eddie Brock.

    i noticed something odd on spectacular spider man...with the symbiote attatched peter refers to himself as "we" even when the symbiote has little care in the matter an example:"gwen has always been there for US."....has this ever happened in the comics.




    i know it seems like a wierd thing to ask but its always bugged me.

    I think that's freaking cool! It means that they merge not only at celular level, and not just personality traits but also memories, feelings, even experiences! Cool stuff!

    but to answer your question, in the comics eddie would always unmask himself when it came to ann, and you're right: the symbiote didn't really care about Brock's love life, although it did heal her when he asked it to.

    @he who is not: To answer your question directly, no, Spider-Man never referred to himself has "we" or "us" when he had the symbiote.

    Eddie did, and Gargan does so inconsistently. Writers can't stay consistent with how Gargan behaves/speaks as Venom.

    Only Eddie Brock talked in plural when addressing himself. Spider-Man didn't when he had the symbiote and Mac Gargan doesn't when he talks either.
