Symbiote battle royal Pt. 2
The secod of part of the short, but sweet, Venom-Carnage series, and man is it amazing. Featuring Spider-man, Blackcat, and get this, Toxin, the new edition to the symbiote family.
The issue starts off with Carnage ready to kill the officer carrying his child. When across the street, Blackcat, who has stolen an art exhibit for an artist, witnesses the monster about to dig into Patrick. She rushes over to save him, only to realize that against Carnage, she might be a little out matched. Luckily, Venom shows up to deal with Carnage, and explains that the child may be a good ally against Spider-man, if raised properly, and that Carnage must let it live. Patirck makes it to the hospital after his son is born, and his wife explains how spider-man saved her. Spider-man swings trough the city contemplating that that new symbiote may be a problem, if not properly watched. Officers start to investing the art heist, when Patrick realizes who the culprit is, Blackcat. So he stages a meeting between the to using the artist to lure her out. Once there, they have a discussion about how she has broken the law, and that as a cop, he must take her in, when Cletus Kassidy brakes through the door carrying the dead artist. He then morphs into Carnage and gains the upper hand, until Patricks symbiote manifests into Toxin!
Another perfect issue. Continuing Peter Milligan's saga of the symbiote's and more sensational artwork by Clayton Crain, this issue is just amazing. Having two rivals battle it out is already awesome, but then introduce an new character, simply fenominal! So, if your interested, I suggest you go pick up the issue, and have a nice read and enjoy.
