    Synopsis: In order to get the cure for the spider epidemic, Flash must confront Anti-Venom.What's Good?Finally, we get another confrontation between Eddie and Venom, only this time, Flash is Venom. What I really enjoyed about this issue is that Eddie finally serves a purpose unlike his other encounters in other series. His so called righteousness in curing the infection makes him important for this Spider-Island event. Eddie really wants to redeem himself from his ways when he used to be Venom. ...

    I liked this book, but I think the quote applies on a metacontextual level as well. See, I'm rather annoyed with Rick Remender chickening out in the end. Addiction and abuse are not light subjects. Not even a little bit. I know I don't have to tell you that. Flash and his father have a contentious and difficult relationship with each other thanks to his father's alcoholism, which you'd expect, but I don't love how quick Flash is to forgive his father just because he's on his deathbed.     Review for Venom #7.The Story: Flash has to find Brock because he might have a cure.The Good: It, sobvious this is was a confontation in the making, symbiote versus favorite host and it delivered. We see that Eddie has been reborn and to thanks to Spider-Island it's gives him the chance to help people in the way of a healer just like Jesus but he can still kick butt. In the last issue we see how much Flash is desperate without the symbiote when it's bonding with Eddie again, he admits that he's ...
