    Venom vs The Queen. Fight.

The story: With Spider-Island coming to an end, this issue is the actual start of the final battle against The Queen. Will Venom be able to carry out his mission and terminate the threat? How will the death of his father (previous issue) affect all of this?

The good: As a tie-in this issue was really important, because this is the actual start of the final battle, where Venom 8 ends, ASM 672 picks off. The action in this book was amazingly well written and illustrated. The insertion of a fellow hero coming to Venom's aid was great as well.

Even while this is a Spider-Island tie-in, Remender managed to give us some really important personal development as well here, among which was the continued story about Flash's father which is being handled very well, even with all the event madness. I'm also digging the continued interaction between Flash and his symbiote, plus Flash's own doubts about whether or not he's doing the right things.

The bad: Kind of cliché to say but, nothing really. It was a great tie-in, but also a story with a lot of character development. Artwork was great aswel.

The conclusion: If you have been reading Venom, you just know this issue will rock just as bad as all the others. But a small warning: you might want to pick up ASM 672 as well, to know how it all ends with The Queen. If you've been reading Spider-Island, chances are you already picked this up, but if not, you really have to pick up the 3 Venom tie-ins, they're great. For all others: simply pick up the darn series. This issue really showed that Venom is becoming a really big player. It's a great story with great artwork.

Synopsis: Venom goes one on one with The Queen. -What's Good? So, I read this issue after I finished reading Amazing Spider-Man #672, so this issue didn't really surprise me by much. Rick Remender does a solid job in tying in the events together, like with Steve Rogers coming back in action. I did like the parts of the letter Flash's father left him throughout the issue. While Flash couldn't get the last goodbye he truly wanted with his father, I really believe that his father's letter was since...

Review for Venom #8.The Story: Flash goes to take out the Queen. The Good: Remender is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers now. With the high the high octaine action of X-Force it is contrasted with Venom where will there is big action, I mean Flash and Steve teaming up against the Queen was great, here we have a series on a more human level with Flash struggling to be a strong man even without the Venom. This is showed greatly with a letter his father wrote him that is contrasted at grea...
