As much as I love to see Spider-Man in this part of the story, it did feel like another filler issue - one that was meant to demoralize Flash even further than before. On top of this, we get assailed with more relationship and loss of control issues. It is obvious that the suit can be removed after 48 hours of exposure - something that may have been a temporary plot device (just like the number of missions Flash was allowed). Since the series was a success, these "temporary plot devices" will likely just fade away, allowing for more important aspects of the story to rise.

Finally, four issues in, we get a taste of the primary arc that started the series - Venom vs. Jack O'Lantern and his diabolical "Daddy-O" - and where it is headed after this minor diversion. Either way, the battle scenes were great and it was definitely nice to see all the action throughout the issue. Oh, one thing I found out of place - in this issue the Vibranium is categorized as "Australian", whereas in previous issues, it has been referred to as "Antarctic". I am not sure if this was a typo, but it didn't "feel" right. ;)

I did find myself wanting Flash to reveal himself to Spider-Man... but much like the last page, or heroes' identities must stay in the shadows.

While the two brawl it out in storefronts of Manhattan, Flash fights to convince Venom that he needs Betty just as bad as Venom needs a host.Written by Rick Remender, drawn by Tony Moore, and published by Marvel, this issue ofVenom was pure fanboy delight as...

Cover:   Not too impressed.  I don't know what it is about Venom carrying all those guns that just doesn't strike me as cool... also, the flag was a little much and unnecessary since it's not like he's doing anything patriotic within.  The Good:   This comic is beautiful.  The art, the storytelling and it's splendid pacing, the characterizations, the interactions between characters and the tension it brings.  The first two thirds of the issue are crazy packed with some awesome action, and the ...
