When Did This Become A Horror Show?
From the way the last issue ended, i was really, and i mean REALLY afraid that Venom was going to mop the floor with the U-foes, which of course would be both PIS and WIS. However, as i read the issue, Bunn though of a great way to keep Venom from getting killed and hold of the U-foes with out the usage of PIS or anything like that. The fight Scene plays out really well and i was very satisfied with how bunn managed to execute things. The fight ends in a way that makes sense and does not give you the " come one seriously" feel. well done.
The dynamic between Venom, The demon and Flash is also very well played out, Flash's Narrative is a pleasure to read and i really enjoyed every second of it. The Whole time The monster takes over and flash has no way out of it. What i also really liked was the fact that flash is alone right now, he has no where to turn to, and he needs reassurance and he develops psychological problems. ( you'll see yourself)
Despite The constantly shifting art, it didn't feel natural and i really liked it. The fight scene was fluid and organic and i enjoyed every second of it. Venom was fierce, fast and agile against the U-foes, and it ultimately became his greatest advantage.
on the other hand, Well.....Bunn had promised us the return of eddie brock, and while i am still excited for his return, i was left with a bad taste in my mouth after reading the ending. Eddie brock has come a long way from being a monster, but here the last scene was a horror show. Don't get me wrong, i get the toxin might be messing with his brain but i don't want him to be a villain.
