And things just got real...
Well, I've been following along with this one since the beginning, and damned if it's not kicking into high gear now. Venom, after being sidetracked by Kraven last issue, is back on task and beating the high holy hell out of The Henchmen to get to that Antarctic vibranium. It's a pretty awesome action sequence that is both visually satisfying as a fight, and emotionally satisfying as Flash deals with the symbiote as best he can. Once Flash gets the shipment, things go a bit awry. The mysterious big bad and Jack O'Lantern are holding Betty hostage in exchange for the vibranium and a favor to be named later. But, as we learn, Spider-Man's also learned that Brant's gone missing, and he's out for blood. Of course whenever Spidey and a raging symbiote meet, sparks fly, and trouble brews, and it looks to be no different here. I can't WAIT to see what happens next month. The writing here is great, and always emotionally on point, and the art, well.....I'm still getting used to it. It's not bad, but I don't love it, either.
