serberus08's Venom #21 - Savage Six, Part 4: Best Laid Plans... review

    No 5 and 6?

The only reason why I didn't give it 5 was because the arc ended. I thought the Venom/toxin fight was awesome and the whole development was great i just wish they would of had six issues involving some sort of pun with the Savage Six but the issue was well written. Rick Remender knows what he's doing and he does a great job. Anyone who likes this Venom series should check out Secret Avengers #29 which also came out this week and the arc before the AVX tie-in was great as well.

The art by by Medina is amazing i really like the depictions of Toxin and Jack are really great. All in all great read I highly recommend getting this story, and even the series.

Recommended!Like the Uncanny X-Force, I was starting to get concerned about this series - happily, for both series, they made a pretty nice comeback. This issue was a very quick read, and ended the Crime-Master arc (from what I can tell) super fast.I am glad that it did, because the reveal of the this incarnation of the Crime-Master was kind of a joke. It certainly did not live up to my expectations for this book thus far, so a quick conclusion was welcomed. You do get a decent back-story on him...
